What do you think about eye contact during sex? - from Em and Lo

Contributor: Em & Lo Em & Lo
This week on EMandLO.com we asked our Wise Guys what they think about eye contact during sex, so we thought we'd pose the question to you guys, too, men and women alike: Do you like looking into your partner’s eyes while you're having sex, and while you're climaxing? Why or why not? And what would you think of a partner who never or rarely looked you in the eyes during sex? Check out what our Wise Guys had to say on the topic here.

I think eye contact is very important. It adds an incredible level of intimacy. In my opinion, the difference between eye contact and no eye contact is the difference between love-making and a good screw. Without it sex would feel isolated and 'apart', while the whole point of sex is to be 'together'.

Eyes locked. The raw intimacy and emotion shared between two people during those moments of our most physically vulnerable state, when we not only give them our bodies but our souls in our gazes ... that brings the most powerful emotional orgasm attached to the physical one anyone could experience.

Now and then, but not all the time. Sometimes I just want to get lost in the moment and don't need eye contact, especially for hot, throw you against the wall fun. But for slow, passionate, connected time, it adds a whole new level of intimacy to the experience.

My wife loves cowgirl - but mostly keeps her eyes closed - so I get to see all her orgasmic facial contortions - it's quite a turn on for me.

Both. Sometimes keeping eye contact is embarrassing in a really personal way that only the two of us share, but sometimes its a second thought when we are really into it.

Eye contact is a great way to connect, but unbroken eye contact is a little weird.

I agree with this. Eye contact can be sexy, but sometimes you just have to look away.

Sometimes I like eye contact, but if I am very into something or about to orgasm then my eyes are closed.

I like it but it isn't essential. We are usually in the dark anyway.

I think eye contact definitely enhances sex. It adds intimacy. If my partner's eyes are closed, I start to wonder why.
