I started getting ingrown hairs in my pubic region recently after I started getting waxed. I love waxing but hate the ingrown hairs, they bother me to no end, and I will go to any lengths to dig them out. I get a weird satisfaction when I finally get them out, too, lol. Does anyone else do the same or do you have the willpower to leave them a lone to work themselves out?
What do you do about ingrown hairs?

My wife solved the problem by getting lasered - but I still get them in my groin area from shaving.

Get myself a sewing pin, run it under scalding hot water, give it a few seconds to cool, and COMMENCE DIGGING!
Annoying little suckers, ingrown hairs. Seriously, they don't pop up on my legs or pits when I shave those. Why do they insist on populating the lady nation?!

Tweeze the hell out of them!
I had one so deep once that I didn't even notice it until it gave me a minor staph infection. Definitely filing that one under "Memories I'd like to forget".

I wish I could tell you. I dig them out with tweezers, even though it hurts so much, I can't stand to leave them alone because they make the area so inflamed and sore.

Ingrown hairs are such a pain. I don't get them all that often but when they do show up I tend to try and exfoliate a bit at first, but once it passes a certain point I just lose patience and go after the hair with a tweezer.

I dig them out after. I will try to exfoliate at first but I get impatient and want to get them out right away.

The very best thing to do is exfoliate regularly to make them less of a problem. Once you have one, the very best thing to do is exfoliate until it comes out.
Think about an ingrown hair almost like a pimple. It's best to treat them gently, but the majority of us are pickers anyway. LOL
I will often exfoliate, and then put a dot of my Proactiv face lotion on it over night. If you can let it grow all the way out (instead of digging and plucking it) it's less likely to happen next time. I'm learning to be more patient about it, and more regular with the exfoliation.

I can't remember ever getting them, but if I did, I assume I'd dig it out.

I rarely get one but I dig it out.
