I call people who participate in that type of hookup fuck buddies, because that's the only thing they do. I don't engage in casual sex and I do not support that kind of act.

I would call them fuck buddies, unless they are also real friends, then we have the friends with benefits label. But, I can't say what I personally call it because I haven't done it. I began to dip my toes in those waters by watching someone on webcam, but I thought we were friends. I was grossly off the mark on both the friends aspect, as well as the fact that I could handle doing something like that. I ultimately couldn't do it and stopped it which is when I discovered for sure there was no friendship either, not really. And this wasn't even in person and I got hurt, so definitely this is out of my comfort zone, lol! I guess it's up to your personality whether this is something you can do. And as long as you're fine with it, then more power to you, so call it whatever you like. I would be interested in what other names people have for it.

Coitus companion. Kidding, friends with benefits or fuck buddy is all I've ever heard so that's what I label them as. Though admittedly I've never had one.

For one semester in college, my hubby had a "friend with benefits" who was only in that state for that semester. No relationship was wanted or practical, but they did "click". They called each other their "Cuddle Buddies". He still laughs about the fact that she never, ever said "she" wanted him in a sexual way. She was very explicit in her requests.
