I noticed recently that sometimes when reading certain things, not erotic literature or anything, I find myself a bit aroused. Obviously a lot of the time I'm reading sex-related things, whether it's reviews, product summaries, certain forum topics, but maybe something technical, meant to be informative, not arousing in any way. But sometimes it's just one word. I was browsing the board and saw the word "horny", and it made me feel a little horny! Is that weird? Does that happen to anyone else, and if so, what words in particular?
Turned on by words?

It happens to me sometimes. But I have an incredibly high sex drive.

It happens to me sometimes, but I too have a high sex drive, and I'm VERY prone to suggestion. I'm one of those people that, even if I've just eaten, driving by a billboard for food, I'll see it and say "that looks so good!!"

I can't of any time this happened to me. I don't know if that's a good thing or not...

I'm very attuned to words, I'll definitely wind up aroused by well-written erotica, or sex-related-but-not-in tended-to-be-arousing things, or sorta-sexual poetry (Walt Whitman? Jack Kerouac?), or completely non-sexual things. Like repair manuals, even, if they're written well.

*points up* This, although not to repair manuals. But if you have me reading instructions on how to properly field strip a gun, well...I might get a bit damp, not gonna lie. *grin*

I like learning, I like technical jargon, and I like people who take care of their tools. Proper field gun-stripping technique guides would have me rearranging my panties too. *grin* I like you, Pixel.

It really depends what mood I am in to start off. If I'm looking to be aroused or I'm anticipating a good night with my girlfriend I'm more likely to be aroused by things that normally wouldn't be exciting on a stand-alone basis.

Every once in a while I will be watching something on tv or reading something that makes me think of something from when I was in my teens that turned me on and it will turn me on because of the association. Smells tend to do the same thing.

I'm a fetishist so my last 5-or-so orgasms were inspired by a totally innocent, PG-rated story.

I get turned on when I only read steamy literature.

It all depends on how well written the erotica is
I also get turned on by spoken words. I've imaginative which doesn't help
