On this date in 1924, Aloysius C. Doerfler of Hot Springs, Arkansas received a U.S. Patent for his invention, a water therapy device for increasing the circulation of blood around female sex organs, “restoring them to a condition of health”. The device, which includes a battery and vibrator, is intended to “vitalize the organs, and to provide the stimulating effect of the electric current.” Source: SexPatentsTheBook.com
