Tampon/pad alternatives?

Contributor: heather-mooney heather-mooney
I've been really interested in alternatives to tampons that aren't so wasteful or harmful. Which of these would you be willing to try?

I use a Lunette cup. It's so nice because you can just carry that around with you and never have to worry about re-filling your backpacks stock of tampons.

Menstrual cups - as long as you don't mind the slightly bloody messes - make sure you pick the right size.

I wouldn't try an alternative. They're nasty but I'll stick with pads.
