Smile....your on camera......

When Polaroids first came out, a big use was "private pictures". Home based photo and video...first camcorder, then digital photos, made home photography of private fun very easy. Now we have digital everything, from pads and computers, to phone cameras. So...the question becomes, has the concept of making "home movies or photos" lost it's "daring...risky" mystique among "long term" involved couples? After the frequent release of photos/videos (when not expected), are even young daters more "careful" or "shy" about allowing a lover to do photo's and videos of themselves in action? What is YOUR take and experience?

I would never be recorded or allow pictures of me taken while nude. The risk of a leak, even if minor, is enough for me.

It hasn't lost it for us and we've been together about 2 1/2 years, we just don't really have a good place for taking dirty pictures right now. Something about being down the hall from my mom makes us a little weird about that, lol. I don't mind my husband taking or having nude pictures of me, even if we ever did break up I know he's not the kind of guy to go spreading nude pics of his exes on the internet, and his ex is lucky for that, lol. And I think that younger daters aren't as careful as they should be, but that they haven't quite reached the point where it's ingrained in them yet. The younger folks now are still figuring out the hard way how everything stays on the internet forever, and I think that by the time the 2 year olds who can work smart phones get to be dating age, they'll have a better grip on stuff like that. At least that's my hope anyway.

I think I would do this sort of thing with my husband, and not allow it to leak out. Privacy matters to me, but if I wanted it to go public I guess I would. I already have a video and pictures of me. No one except my husband has ever seen them. Keeping it that way, seeing as he would never agree to let these become publicized. However, I have always fantasized about being a porn star every now and then.

Just make sure you trust the person with your life. It could ruin your life if it leaks

I did it with an ex and I now regret it, even though I trusted him completely at the time. But you know, if he leaks those, he's distributing kiddie porn because I was under 18 at the time, so who's going to get in more trouble? I've done it with my current partner, too. I'm not too worried about it. I'm not planning on running for public office, and I've got a lot more scandalous things in my life to worry about than a couple of pictures! I say inappropriate and sexual things all the time, and I hopefully my profession is one in which I can get away with it.

That being said, it's not something I do often, and I'd never do it with anybody that I wouldn't trust to tie me up and have his way with me. And definitely not on a phone. That seems to be just asking for trouble.

I see the appeal of getting naked for an appreciative stranger because it can make you feel really fucking attractive. It's a great ego boost. You just have to be really careful, and it's probably not worth the risk. I'd prefer the ego boost I get from putting on a sexy but appropriate outfit to go out and turn heads.

We've done it a lot - videos and pictures both. I'd never show them to anyone (the really explicit ones anyhow), and he wouldn't either, so I don't worry about it. I think there's a sense of excitement when you know you're performing on camera, and there's a bit of a thrill taking the pictures as well.

I've sent my guy pics, anything with nudity didn't have my face (partially because it's hard to get everything in view together when the camera's in your hand). I'd trust him with video, he likes to make clean breaks when he breaks up. No revenge acts, no matter how messy of a breakup it is.

I've sent my boyfriend naked pictures. I know he's not going to show them to anyone, even if we do break up I don't think he'd do anything with them.
I do think that younger people these days aren't careful enough about it though. I knew that the baseball boys at my school would get a ton of naked pictures from girls, then show them to each other on the baseball bus. And with all the girls that do it on their phone, there's always a chance of a parent finding it.
My mom grounded me from my phone last year (I was 18, and my senior year of high school. Don't worry, I was of age), and she took my phone, then decided to look through all my pictures, and saved messages. And while I know she was only doing it to see if I was talking bad about her with my dad, she still saw a lot of pictures she probably didn't want to see. Then she threatened to send them to my dad.
