I use conditioner instead of shaving cream. Easier on my sensitive skin and less likely to get razor burn.

I use conditioner as well, IMO it really helps. I've also found that shaving frequently is better than occasionally.

I have good luck with any of the sensitive skin style shave gels or creams. The main thing is to do it frequently and use a fresh new razor each time.

Professional depilatory might be less costly in the long run. Just a thought.

If you are talking about chemical depilatories, they are way to caustic for use on intimate areas - if you read the directions - they warn you not to do it.

If you are talking about laser treatment - my wife has had that done, but it doesn't work for everyone.

The conditioner is inexpensive compared to shaving creams for example.

What do you use?

Since I am assuming your are referring to shaving your public area. I thoroughly cleanse the outside of my skin with a face clearing wash containing salicylic acid, this reduces the chance for clogged pores and ingrown hairs. Also condition the skin and hair with a body oil while still in the shower.I use shaving cream, mostly because I like the fragrance, but conditioner works well too. Finally I use an after shave gel that is designed for reducing shave bumps and cooling any irritation. Shaving often, daily or at least every other also helps and like others have suggested a fresh razor, the more blades the better.

I was referring to both Laser as well as Electrolysis, Gunsmoke. I have not personally had either one. However, my spouse has with relatively good results.

No experience with electrolysis - but laser treatments worked well for my spouse.
