This is something I've been thinking about for a while now. Obviously due to the expense and me just graduating with my MA, it will be a long time before I go through with it...if I even decide to go through with it.

Has anyone here ever utilized or considered utilizing the services of a sex surrogate? I'll be thirty this year and have never had sex. As much as I love my "arsenal (what I call my toy collection)," there's always a feeling of unfulfillment I can't quite explain. Maybe it's the lack of human touch or something, but I have a tendency to get these pangs of emptiness and dissatisfaction, even though my toys always get me off. Like I said, I can't quite explain it. I just feel...unfulfilled.

Just to clarify, surrogacy is NOT prost*tut*on.

Dear christyfuntime89, first of all, cheers for sharing your story with us. This is a chance for our community to once again demonstrate how supportive and thoughtful they can be.

It's fantastic that you have such a vast toy collection and it's definitely a shame you never experienced a human connection on that carnal level. It's natural, and it's understandable you feel that urge. Body to body feels so much different than toy to body - any toy user would confirm that.

Regarding your sex surrogacy idea - would you please care to elaborate on its nature? What does it imply? It surely would be great to know. less

Hi @GingerAnn! Thank you for taking the time to reply. Sex surrogates, by definition, are practitioners trained in addressing issues of intimacy and sexuality. They offer special kinds of classes to help people either feel more comfortable with sex or help them have sex all together. It is perfectly legal in this country to see one, but because a.) they are few and far between and b.) for obvious reasons, have to undergo extensive education, training, licensure, etc. their services are quite costly. There is also a limit to the number of times you can see one.

I first learned about sex surrogates by watching a film called "The Sessions." It's a great film based on a true story. I highly recommend it. less
