I took a quiz the other day and it told me I'm more guy than girl. No, really. It did. So I started going over our sex life in my mind.

Don't ask me how I made the connection. It doesn't make sense to me either.

Turns out, I'm probably one of the least sensual women you'll ever meet. Our sex is raunchy and hard. Intense and rough. Not that I'm complaining! I love it. But I realized I miss the more sensual side of lovemaking.

So I'm looking for some ideas to jumpstart that part of our sex life. So far, I've decided to buy a massage oil set. But that's as far as I've gotten. Help!

I like it when my husband takes time to kiss me all over and how he pays attention to every inch of my body. I categorize that as sensual. He's actually more sensual than I am and that reminds me to take it slower. I am sensual, but I also like it a bit rough (with paddles and whips and dirty talk).

I think that if you want to explore the more sensual side, then perhaps you should both make a point to slow down during your sexual play and be softer. Does that make sense?

I know what you mean about missing the sensual side, there are times when I don't want any rough play at all. I love the deep sensual connection. It's a different kind of satisfaction.

You might want to look into a good erotic massage DVD. Done correctly, massage teaches both partners to slow down and enjoy the sensations more. You can even add to the sensuality by experimenting with soft things (feathers, silk strips, etc) and try some aromatherapy during the massage. It generally leads to a whole different brand of sex.
