So my question here is how many of you are plus size like 3X/4X size in lingerie and have done a boudoir/pin up style photo shoot for your other half? I REALLY want to do this but I am on the heavier side of things and NOT sure what positions would look good, lingerie to choose..Any tips would be appreciated! If you did them did you do fully clothed, lingerie, head shots, chest up shots, nude, what props did you use,did you include any of your toys? I would LOVE any feedback

As long as your partner is into you, he's going to love them.
If you decide to go with a corset or some other sort of shorter top, I would (personally) make sure that I'm wearing a bottom piece that fully covers my stomach and detracts from it, like a short skirt or something. You can do sexy things with it and lift up the back to show your ass cheeks or something. Like this:
You can also do things like babydolls, which would hid your tummy a little with the flowy fabric, like this:
Or you can just come to terms with the way you are and go bare...

Also, make sure you research photographers in your area. Don't just go to anyone. Find someone who's done this before. They'll be able to better tell you how to pose to make you look amazing.

I've been behind the camera, and I would say the most important part of getting a good picture is for the model to feel confident and maintain good posture. Size is irrelevant. I've seen slender models whose pictures come out horribly because their discomfort is visible in their faces even if they're smiling.
Choose clothing that makes you happy and remember to elongate your neck and limbs, and it should be a success. If you're not sure how to pose, study pictures of the look you're trying to achieve. I would recommend an image search of "Dirty Martini" and "Leyla Rose," two honest-to-plus-size pin-up models/burlesque performers.
If you have some cash to spare, also consider adding this video to your collection: How To Be a Pinup Model, with Bettina May and Go-Go Amy.
Good luck!

A 3/4 angle when standing works best (the spot between facing front and profile). Raise your face a bit so the double-chins don't show. Hair is your friend - it frames you better. Have dynamic posturing - don't look like a corpse. Facial expressions make a world of difference.
Here's one I did for my former-Master last year (wearing a Coquette 'corset' I bought from EF).

I am a photographer. and I now have added Burlesque to my list of specialtys.
As a firm believer of 0 is NOT a size. I know some tricks to hiding "unwanted" areas. Lay on your belly on a bed. or even just they way you tilt your arm. I'll put some stuff together for you to look at.
Hope I can help ya

Thanks for sharing your photo with me!! I may later on blur my face out and post a clothed body shot of me so maybe the size will help..I mean I am lucky to be top heavy and rear heavy so everything levels out but I still have what I say is a HUGE tummy

I've done this...granted, all I was wearing was a black lace thong and a large snake...and no, nothing creepy went on with the snake. It was just a prop.

I'm the one behind the camera, so my tips are what I give to my models. It's really all about how relaxed you feel. Find a photographer that makes you comfortable, makes you laugh (a genuine laugh is about as sexy as it gets on film), and understands posing.
As the model, focus on your eyes and maintain good posture, especially through the shoulders. If you concentrate on making bedroom eyes that go through the back of the camera, the rest of your expression and pose will naturally relax and look amazing. Also, grab a mirror, and practice posing yourself. A glass of wine or two makes this alot more fun. Try peeking from around a curtain with come hither eyes, posing in front of a bright window with your hands through your hair, laying across a bed or the floor, and especially the pin up style. Check out Gil Elvgren, and see what kind of poses his models do.
Also play with facial expressions. Look over your shoulder for a tight shot, throw your head back and laugh while your hands love your curves, crawl towards the camera, pamper yourself in the mirror, and so on.
Another thing to remember, you don't need to look at the camera EVERY time. Sometimes, it's sexier to capture a mood or a moment that doesn't feel posed, and it offers you a chance to break away from the camera and get relaxed again. When you smile, take a deep breath and exhale into your smile. If you don't smile, part your lips slightly to give your face a smoky expression, and bite your lip or fingertip for a flirty expression.
I'm so excited for you! Just have fun, and remember that its for the one you love, so if pose for him, you'll look amazing!

So I am thinking of just doing them for myself as a confidence boost since that was well damaged heavily in the breakup

You should definitely go for it! I've only recently started sending pics of myself to my...kind-of significant other (long story), but just dressing up in lingerie and taking photos of myself makes me feel confident and sexy, regardless of any feedback from him (though, that's always been appreciative too). Granted, I'm not plus-sized, but there are still parts of my body I'm less comfortable with (I know it's a cliche, but I'm sure that's true even of supermodels), but I just choose angles/poses that highlight the features I like most.

the sexy will come from your attitude go in there feeling like a million and it will show in your pics. I love doing this for my fiance and he loves it too. just enjoy being a beautiful woman while taking the pics

I'm a 1X/2X and never done it but want too. Sadly there isn't any places around here for those kinds of pictures. Closes I could ever find was 100+ miles away.
