Does your partner ever wake you from a sound sleep to have sex? Is that okay, in general, and are you receptive to that concept or do you consider it selfish on their part?

I often get woken up so that he can have sex with me before work. We have a M/s dynamic so he can take me when he wants me. So it's totally ok with me.

totally ok

My wife never has but I wish she would, she always says she does not want to bother me. I have woke her a number of times, mostly to see if I can get her off before she wakes. Kind of a thrill for me. She typically wakes just as she comes.

It depends. Most of the times, now, its great. When we had little babies and I wasn't getting much sleep, I actually preferred sleep to a lot of sex. We would often have sex after a middle of the night feeding, because we knew the baby would be asleep for a while after nursing (and my breasts wouldn't leak as they were just used) But, I didn't like being woken up back then.
Now, I like it any time. This morning, I though we were going to make love after he got out of the shower, we had sex late last night and woke up early (he fell asleep before he came, but after I did, so it was OK for me.) When that happens we always have sex the next morning. He was really tired, and I rubbed his back and we both fell back asleep. I was woken up with a fully ready man, and we had a good time. I promptly fell back asleep again after.
He says he would love to wake up in the middle of a blow job. I've tried y'all, I've tried. But, once he's out, he is not waking up, not even for a blow job. He frequently wakes me in the early morning or late at night for sex. I always have to pee and brush my teeth first though. It's a ritual that I have to kiss Mr. Happy before I leave to do my stuff, even though I'll be right back.

Totally fine. Considering I have no problem waking him up, yes. What a pleasant way to wake up! Unless, I'm there was some sort of obvious reason why I would not want to beforehand.
07/10/2011
No he doesn't. Usually when I am woken up for any reason, I get really mad and yell things that make no sense.
07/10/2011
I don't mind it. I do it to him more than he does it to me.
07/10/2011
I'm the one who always wake up my husband for sex, and he doesn't mind one bit.
He goes to bed much sooner than me, by the time when I've finished all my chores and took my shower, he's sound asleep. So, I always wake him up when I'm ready to have sex in the middle of the night.

I've told my wife she can wake me anytime - and she has. The reverse is not true - although I can get her up a little early on a Sat AM.

I used to wake my husband in the middle of the night, at least twice a week. My insomnia is much better lately, so I haven't done it in awhile. He didn't mind it at all. He rarely will wake me for sex; I wish he would. He says it is hard for him to wake me up when I am peacefully sleeping. Oh, well.

My wife never has but I want her to. She always says that she will but she sleeps too heavily haha.

I tell her it is ok when she is working nights. Sometimes I get woken up to a blow job, then on the sex. It does not bother me too much. Some times when it is late I can get alittle cranky, but only on nights I have to get up early for work

I find it really annoying, personally, because I love to sleep.
07/11/2011
Most likley if were alone in the room its only for sex other then that one of us is usually busy with the kids or the kids are in our room.
07/11/2011
Oh god, I love waking up for sex...especially if I wake up and we're already in the middle of it. I sleep like a rock, so I'm not able to wake my husband up. I've tried though, even set alarm clocks, and even then my husband has to wake ME up, lol.
07/11/2011
no. I'd kill him
07/16/2011
He tries but he gets slapped or kicked or gets his hand grabbed and thrown off of me. We haven't determined exactly why that is, yet. He takes it very personally and we've had numerous conversations about it.
07/16/2011
I love doing it to him, and the few times he's done it to me it's been really sexy
07/16/2011
Wow, I always thought I'm the only woman out there who wakes my husband in the middle of the night for sex. But if it's the other way around, with him trying to wake me up when I'm sleeping, I'll be all grumpy! I feel so guilty!

My fiancée has on a number of occasion woken me up. Lets just say that the reverse has happened, and met with a whole lot of "No!" Maybe some day... *dreaming*
07/16/2011
Did once wish she would all the time! I love it
07/22/2011
I haven't woken him up, but occasionally he'll roll over and conduct sleep sex. However, he's the one who's asleep! It's awesome.
07/22/2011
We have woken each other up and I am perfectly fine with that and so is he
07/22/2011
No, Mrs. Lust does NOT like to be awakened for any reason, and she has not ever done it to me. Wish she would.
07/22/2011
There is nothing I find so sweet, so intimate as being gently shaken and asked 'are you awake? I want to...' and I always, ALWAYS say yes. Its usually a slow, sleepy fuck which are underrated, as it is. I always make it clear to my partner that they can ask whenever they like, and no sleep is so amazing that it can't be put on hold.
07/22/2011
No. My husband knows better than to wake me up when I'm sleeping. I have a nasty sleep disorder, and any time I can actually get to sleep and stay asleep should not be disturbed.

I might have answered here already but my husband does this a lot. I'll be honest, half the time I tell him to go jack off and I return to my sleep. It's just me, but I don't like it. I need my rest because I have early work hours most of the time. A lot of my clients want to have consultations from 7:00am-2:00pm so I have to be up, getting prepared (eating breakfast, taking a shower, getting dressed, making a file for each client) by 5:30am.

If it's a friday/sat night, and I have nothing to do saturday/sunday... then okay. Let's do it. But I know he would hate getting waken up and so do I. So it basically depends on how much sleep I need.

He's never done it, but he's tried. He said if he gets randomly turned on at night, he starts rubbing on me, hoping I get turned on and wake up. But I never wake up from it, so he just goes to the bathroom.
It'd be hot if he did wake me up though.

No, we have an agreement if the other can make it happens it works!
