I'd like to point out that the poll is a little confusing.

The link you click to get in here says

"Is your sex life better when in a long term relationship?"

then the question in the poll is

"Is no commitment sex better than when your in a committed long term relationship?"

Yes or No to those two question are very different, some people might be confused (I was almost guilty of not reading the short interior text and assuming it was the same as the thread title.) Still I am not sure which question I should have answered.

I much prefer my sex life now, with my long-term, committed partner. There is nothing like someone who knows your body, knows your sounds, knows what you like, and does it all. Plus we can talk about our issues together, feel safe, and just be ourselves. I like feeling loved for all my parts - both my body and the rest of me.

Funny, but I've had no sex in long-term relationships. I'd like to try it sometime. Maybe with someone who has a libido and lives closer (the two things I lacked in my last two LTRs).

I refuse to answer the poll because it's asking two entirely different questions.

I had some shorter relationships with a great sex life, but it was ONLY in the really long term relationships...one prior to getting married, and then with my hubby (now of 35 years) that I had the trust and confidence to do anything, go anywhere and enjoy all kinds of things without worry about trust, security or ANY worries, in fact.

Very well said. I don't worry about ANY imperfections with my hubby of so many years. He loves me.....a LOT...just as I am. Ditto for me. No place I know on me he wouldn't be happy to plant a big kiss or a tender caress!!!!

WOW...I just RE-read the question..after reading other comments about confusion. Indeed, you imply NO commitment sex is BETTER then long term relationship. I stupidly clicked YES. TOTALLY not how I feel. Long term beats "no committment" sex all to heck.

The question was phrased rather confusingly.

Maybe should have said "which is better"....A. Long Term B. Shot term

I've never had sex out of a long term relationship, actually. And I can't say at what point it's better... discovery of a new person is fun, as is the comfort of knowing so much about someone else.
