Hi everyone! So i have used this site for awhile now but never completed my profile so this is my first post. So i have started to get a substantial toy collection due to all the wonderful things on the site and lack of a current lover. However it came to mind that now that i have these items i feel a bit nervous with introducing my collection to a new lover. Im a guy who likes girls, so this one is more a question for the ladies.. How would you react if a guy were to open up and show you some of their collection? In my opinion guys aren't as common to have toys, let alone a bunch of them. Would it be better to wait awhile as the relationship builds or open up on this topic more early on. What's your opinion?

Dear Trueblue!
My opinion is the earlier you find out the most important things about each other, the better. On the other hand, you should achieve a certain level of trust in each other to share secrets like that.

I would suggest for starters to ask leading questions about what your GF think about sex toys, has she tried any, would she like to try them? Search useful and adequate information on the internet and discuss it together. Talk over what excitement sex toys could add to your sex life.

Maybe you'll find out that your lover is the same sex toys enthusiast as you. If not, you'll get an opportunity to prepare her step by step to introducing to the world of sex toys!

Good luck to you!

Talk about the toys to her outside of the bedroom. Don't surprise her in the midst of sex by taking out a bunch of toys. I would probably slowly introduce some of the less extreme ones a few at a time and see how that goes.

Hi Trueblue

When I meet my boyfriend, I didn't know too much about sex toys and, one day, he went to a sex toys shop and got some pretty basic stuff, as some cuffs, a small vibrator, and few clit stimulators. When he got home I saw it and I was so excited. From then, we talk and he shows me what he wants and we choose them together. So, a solid no to hide it from your partner. You don't need someone that it's not like you

Hey Trueblue,

Personally, as a straight woman, I find it sexy as hell when a man is open and honest about his sexual preferences. I would definitely encourage you to be honest from the jump. During that initial "do you like this?" phase of getting to know someone. I would also caution you from whipping them out mid-sex, some people are a little intimidated.

I have a partner that has toys and it is a huge turn on that he is in touch enough with his own masculinity to admit that having his prostate and his ass stimulated feels good.

Best of luck!

Such a personalised thing isn’t it. But then like any relationship you must be open to expressing oneself.
