One is modern, and I got it as a gift so I'm not sure on the price, but the actual vintage one was a steal! The guy who won it out bid me at $40. He overheard how much I had wanted it and that I only had $30 on me. He allowed me to buy it from him for $30! I'll have to upload a picture of it.

The worth of it is in the hundreds though. I did some research online and most from the same company, age and condition can go for around $250, more if restored.

I probably have too many but at the same time, I am always looking. A few months ago, things got out of hand so I sorted through my collection and passed some of them; glass, and silicone, on to two kinky friends after they expressed an interest in using toys...they are now Eden consumers in their own right.
I disposed of my older jelly and mystery type substances and sterilized the glass and silicone.
I outgrew a bureau drawer and now most are under the bed in "see through" shoe storage containers. When I want to play, it is not the time for me to start a search....

I suppose that if you become obsessed with collecting them, then you can have too many (ever seen the show Hoarders?)

Otherwise, you just can't have too many!

If space becomes a problem, rent a storage shed!!

I agree with you. If you don't use it then you have too many sex toys. I don't want to be on horders with sex toys piled high and no room to walk.

For me there's definitely a case of too many. I have so much going on that I have toys I haven't even touched yet. And they take up so much room the more you have. So, yeah, there can be too many. lol

We have a friend who has a trunk-load of toys, but never uses them. To us, that's when you have too many toys. If you have more than what you can enjoy, or don't use them to enjoy them, it's time to streamline and keep the ones you REALLY love!

No way. Not if you are happy to have em! I'm sure the packaging takes up more space than the toys though!

My mom has a trunk I am currently coveting, Its about 2'8"h x 2'4"d x 3'w. Its got the rounded top and a drop in shelf compartment. It would look absolutely beautiful with the interior upholstered with black, red or purple velvet. I think its dated somewhere in the neighborhood of 1910. The paper inside is discoloured and ripped in a corner, and it has that old blanket box smell. Oh to get my hands on that Trunk.

I would have used "other" here. I think when you become a compulsive buyer, and it becomes a financial or personal liability (like some porn or sex addicts), then it's too much. As long as it's healthy and affordable, then the more the merrier!
