How to start with toys?

Contributor: molly.moon molly.moon
Hi people! I'm a newbie here and in general - with toys.. Honestly , I've never tried anything before, and I'm just getting lost with where to start this journey, how to select something for the first try, etc..

Can somebody share their stories? How did you guys start? To which points do I have to pay attention while first purchasing? Any other recommendations will be highly appreciated. Thank you

Hello! Sorry to see this went almost a month without a reply. What kinds of toys were you considering?

When I got started, I was mainly concerned with cost; big mistake, as I ended up with about half duds at the time, though the other half served me well for ages. My advice, start off with something basic, and don't go too large at first. don't get the absolute cheapest thing available, but don't go too much if you're testing the waters.

If I knew what kinds of toys you were looking into, I might be able to give more useful, or at least more targeted advice. Just avoid toys made from jelly; they're often cheap, but they're generally of such poor quality thanks to the material that it's worth getting almost anything else.

Can somebody share ... more
Start simple...something like a clit vibrator, bullet, or egg. Don't worry about it being rechargeable, insertable, pulsatile, etc. Just get something simple. For your first toy you can't go wrong with something like the Pocket Pleasure Set, X Pointer, Pocket Massager Kit, or even a small wand. You'll figure out what you like, what you don't like, what you want more of, etc. and will expand your horizons from there!
