How do you deal with that darned WET SPOT?

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
For a while we used a towel kept by the bed. We found nice NON crinkly waterproof mattress pad, but that does not help the sheets.

We use lots of lube for all kinds of play, so our bed can get REALLY messy and NO ONE wants to sleep on the wet spot...not even the dog.

We have now bought a THROW from Liberator...awesome. Just keep it under during play, then pull it off and toss in the wash the next day if needed.

How do YOU deal with the WET SPOT in your lovemaking???

We keep a towel near by. Most of the time we dont need anything but sometimes its better to be safe than messy.

We keep towels handy. I recently picked up a waterproof throw but it's kind of thin. Bignuf, what are your impressions of the Liberator throe – throw ?

I've got the Throe. Love it and it really keeps the mattress dry.

However, I don't care if I sleep in the wet spot so it doesn't matter too much in our fun times.

I just put a towel under me afterward. (We actually have special maroon and red "sex towels" to use for my period and for the wetspot. They aren't hung up in the bathoom with the "shower towels.") I don't move when I sleep, so it stays where I place it. I'd love a Throe, maybe next order.

we just throw the sheets over it to hide it, should someone come in, and let it dry on its own if we're going out. if we're sleeping we just sleep on it. never had one too big and horrible and wet. he usually comes on me, and we wipe off with whatever's handy or wash off at the bathroom sink. sometimes he comes in me. then the wet spot either goes down my esophagus or in the toity.

i've been known to make a wet spot too. we marvel at it and go about our business. wash the sheets as soon as i can.

We currently use a towel, but I REALLY want to upgrade to a throe.

Usually a towel or he grabs an old t-shirt from the drawer by my side of the bed.

I use an old blanket. Don't know what its made of but it is kind of water proof. I'm saving up for a liberator.

I actually have a non-crinkly bed bad that goes over the entire mattress, and I want to say it has a layer of silicone or something similar to what you'd see as a shower mat. It's very comfy and works well. I went and found it at Bed Bath and Beyond this past week. My husband bought me a new mattress so I don't want to ruin it! Those wet spots are a pain though... as far as the sheets go and blankets. We do have one really old blanket that we lay down on the bed to control mess, however with some lubricants, that doesn't always work.

I don't have a throe yet, so right now I use a towel. I also try to let the spot dry as much as I can before I go to sleep so I don't have to deal with the wetness.

A nice soft blanket here. I had considered getting a throe, but the blanket works really well, so I'll stick with it for now.

We use a plush towel, convenient throwing it into the washing machine without taking up all the space.

I usually put a towel down, but that doesn't always save you from a spot. Have a box of tissues near the bed too. Recently got the liberator throe, should be a lifesaver (and investment well worth it).

Towel or throe, whichever is closer and more handy. When it was really hot a few weeks ago I had my husband sleeping on the throe, so it's conveniently still right there on the bed!

We have been doing it a lot lately in our guest bedroom which serves also as our playroom, so we haven't been messing up the bed. We have the throe down on the bed for when we play over there, and we then have our many liberator shapes. We try to always grab some toilet paper and when I pull out my wife will cover up with that. It works pretty well, only occasionally do we make a mess.
