So, last night I was at a wedding and the photographer was a guy I had fucked a few times in high school. At the time, I was 17 and he was 32. Looking back on it now, I can't believe I would do that considering my age then and the age difference between us. It's not a situation where I felt I had been taken advantage of or anything like that. I actually initiated the whole thing. He was know as "Horse Cock" by the mutual friends we had, and being the young hormone driven sexpot that I was, I was naturally curious.

But this got me thinking about age of consent. In the state I live this could have been considered statutory rape. Clearly he wasn't worried about the consequences because I had initiated the whole thing and wasn't about report him. That and we only hooked up a few times, so there really wasn't any risk of my parents finding out either.

So, I guess what I was wondering was how prevalent these kind of illicit relationships are. And I'm not talking about sex where both partners are having consentual underage sex (i.e. most high school sexual relationships). Even though that is still technically considered statutory rape. I'm talking about sexual relationships where one person is underage and the other is not. Private poll (obviously).

All my own personal opinion:

Women tend to mature faster than men, and teenaged boys of the same age can be the most irritating beings to some girls. I think it's common for girls to seek out older guys for this reason.

The age of consent is 16 here, by the way. It was 14 up until 2008.

My boyfriend is two years younger than me. He was sixteen when we started dating. We are still together and have a baby. (: I see nothing wrong with it. Of course we are both in our 20's now.

I was 20 the first time I had sex, and both my partners have been older than me.

I had a friend who had had plenty of hook-ups while he was under the age of consent with people over the age (very smart guy - started college at 16). Not having his parents around at all was very conducive to getting sex with other college students, who didn't really care that he was younger.

No, I've never had sex with anyone under the age of consent when I was over it, or vice versa. I didn't have sex until I was 19, and my boyfriend was also 19.

nope,never been attracted to those that were significantly older or younger then me.
