I've never actually considered it. If you gotta go, then go. I don't want you squirming around doing the potty dancy, while I'm trying to cuddle. It might be a good idea to go before, but such planning isn't always practical. It would definitely be a moodbreaker, if you had to go during. Unless you were into watersports, which I'm not. Also, has anyone else noticed that peeing right after an orgasm feels amazing? I assume my penis is more sensitive in general, so it can appreciate the subtle sensation of liquid flowing through it.

I don't run off to the bathroom if I've been having sex with a woman usually, because there's been no ramming of my bladder. With a penis though I have to run off and go to the bathroom immediately or I'm likely to get a UTI

Same here. My husband will kick me out of the bed, to go potty, if I look like I might fall asleep. He never lets me wait more than a few minutes. He goes right afterward too, usually after me, since it takes him awhile to be able to go after sex.

I used to get UTI's all the time, my doctor suggested to us that not urinating immediately afterward might be the cause, and my husband and I have been vigilant ever since. I have not had another UTI since she told us and that was years ago.

I always go before sex too. There have been times (our sessions are quite long), I have to get up and go in the middle of sex. He is never offended.

There is always time for cuddling after taking care of ones self.

Cranberry juice did NOTHING for me. It actually made my problem worse, due to the sugars in it. I told my doctor I was drinking it and I still couldn't understand why I got another. The only Cranberry juice she recommended was 100% Cranberry Juice NO SUGAR ADDED (not Ocean Spray cocktail, no apple juice in the mix). It is awful and EXTREMELY expensive. I really tried to drink it. I tried cutting it with water, hoping to cut the sourness/tartness because there is NO sweetness to straight cranberry juice at all.

This is coming from a girl who eats cranberry relish like it is going out of style during the holidays!

Most cranberry juice that is 100% juice is mixed with other fruit juices, to make it sweeter. It's definitely more expensive than the cocktail, but in my experience, it's a difference between 3 bucks, and 2 bucks, give or take. If I want juice, I'll buy cranberry/something else juice. If I want to add vodka to it, I get the cocktail. The cranberry juice cocktail tastes terrible without alcohol in it.

In past relationships, I have never gone to the toilet after sex.
But I'm fortunate to have never had a UTI either.

These days may be different - I'm getting older....hehehe.

I have to go to the bathroom aftersex. If I dont go to the bathroom I will more than likely get a Kidney infection or a UTI. And I like to do it with in 5-10 min. My husband doesnt pull out and one time I waited like 45min before I went to the bathroom and I ended up with a horrible kidney infection.

I have to. 2 minutes of cuddles and I've got to go. Otherwise I get UTIs like no one's business, plus, we don't really want to mess up the sheets. Actually, if I'm feeling lazy and wait what my boyfriend deems too long, he reminds me to get up and go clean up, lol

Usually my partner brings me a damp washcloth to soothe things and do an initial clean up. Then I get up and go pee. This also lets him pee and get cleaned up in peace.
I used to get a lot of bladder irritation after sex or masturbation until I made 2 changes. I take 2 cranberry concentrate pills afterwards. I also have switched lubes and now use a glycerine free lube with a very short ingredient list. Sometimes I can skip the pills with the new lube but I tend to still take them to be on the safe side.

Peeing after sex is really important in reducing the risk of a UTI (I pee every single time afterward and have only had one tiny UTI. My mom, who taught me to do this, is in the same boat.)

He: Wow, good mom. Considering that without her, the night would have been a lot more boring, I humor her and get up to take a shower.

She: Whatever, you're basically like "Oh my gosh are we gonna shower now? I'm so excited!!"

He: I don't think there are exclamation points after anything I say after sex.

She: Yeah, it's more like "omgshawww? buuuhhhhh" I'm a professional post-coital slump translator though, so you can take my word that the translation above is 110% accurate.
