Which do you prefer, glass or silicone. I have both and use both but I often use condoms to cover the silicone to add more slip to the surface especially with anal. I feel like you need too much lube for silicone. To me it adds too much drag. To me glass is so much easier to clean but because of glass, dropping can be a disaster. I broke my favorite glass butt plug cleaning it in the sink.

We have both and sometimes prefer the softness of the silicone and sometimes the rigidity of glass or stainless steel.

I like both but the smooth rigidity of glass is unparallelled.

We have tried pretty much every material but prefer silicone the most.

We enjoy metal, glass and silicone - and use them all frequently, often during the same session. They all have unique attributes that can be exploited for satisfying each other.

I've tried glass ones but it wasn't quite my jam.

You dropped it to the sink and it broke?

Toys made from borosilicate glass have higher strength and are more resistant to breaking than regular glass. Nevertheless, if a glass toy hits the hard surface, it probably will be damaged, and it would better not to use it further, because there may be cracks not visible to the eye, which make using this toy unsafe.

I really can't answer this honestly because I haven't tried any glass toys yet. I want to but haven't had the opportunity yet. I have a couple on my wish list.

Can somebody describe the difference in the sensation for me between the two? Like between a silicone dildo versus a glass dildo. And maybe pros versus cons between the two as far as sensation/orgasm?

Silicone - even with plenty of lube can be a 'draggy' - where as glass is going to smooth - might I say, smooth as glass!
Silicone comes in many formulations - many of the newer toys are softer silicone, or dual density silicone to be more lifelike.
There is nothing lifelike about glass. Because it's so hard, I would suggest going on the smaller side to start out. Find a texture you think you will like - with glass it's all about texture.
Some people like temperature play and put their glass in the fridge or on a heating pad. We don't do that much - but even at room temperature the glass is going to feel cool to the touch - which can be a welcome sensation during hot weather - or hot sex!
In the winter a heating pad is nice way to eliminate an unwanted chilling effect.
Although my wife likes glass toys, for her they are a part of foreplay - she will not have an orgasm with them.
The only hard toy she can have an orgasm with is the steel Njoy Pure Wand. There is a glass version of it, but it's more expensive.
I would definitely recommend buying a Pure Wand - it's very versatility, my wife refers to hers as "The Gusher" for obvious reasons - nothing can home in on your g-spot like the Pure Wand.

I'll have to say I prefer a glass for my anal play but she prefers silicone for her anal playing, glasses is more smooth won't hug you glides in and out silicone hugs and makes it feel a little tighter and fuller, hope this helps
