I'm pretty sure that's a myth. Fits right in with all of the other "You can't get pregnant if ______" myths.

I read that douching afterward actually increased the risk of pregnancy, because it pushes the sperm deeper inside the vagina.

I think I heard this one a long time ago actually... and I remember thinking to myself, "well even if that's the case, I'm not going to risk it and not use protection!!!" So yeah, I'm going to go with what everyone else said: "myth".

That's a myth. The sperm instantly travels fast enough to get where it needs to go.
