My boyfriend really doesn't do that, but when he does it's always in a joking tone while just talking normally. I think nothing of it because of the way it is said.
Does it insult you?

I make it point not to insult or demean anyone I'm having sex or in a relationship with, even if they don't mind it or even like it.
If you insult someone enough, even in play, it could easily color how you really see them...and that's not a good thing.

Depends on how and where it is said

Depends on the context. During sex, I like it. Just randomly, with insult as the intention? I'd be pissed.

OTHER:
My boyfriend doesn't call me a slut. It wouldn't turn me on to be called a slut during sex.

I'm so sorry, I hope my post hasn't stirred up bad memories... I didn't mean this in an offending matter, I more ment it in an almost roleplay sort of way. I apologize if I have hurt you in any manner

He's never called me that, and I wouldn't like it if he did. I was abused in a previous relationship and called a slut a lot, even though I didn't actually do anything to deserve it.

It sounds like you have grown in to a greater person by not allowing things to insult you, I find your post very enlightening.

I've worked on myself in recent years to become less and less "offended" by things that really don't matter. I've been called a slut in a nice way, and a few times in a not so nice way. If I "get offended" and the person meant offense, they win. Right? So, I simply laugh. If My Man uses it in dirty talk or just messing around, "C'mere ya little slut!" I find it arousing or funny.
I used to be the type of person who would look for things to "be offended" by. It was wasting a LOT of energy and effort on my part. So, I have worked on my feelings so that I only become offended by truly offensive things; say racism, slavery, pedophilia etc.
It's just a word. Eleanor Roosevelt said something to the effect that one must give permission to allow someone to degrade you. If you don't give them permission, their words have no impact. less

I've never had this happen, but if it did, the relationship would most likely be over in that moment. Jokingly though? It would just turn me off.

He somehow manages to make it a term of endearment. It's cute.

yes thats an insult and no guy should ever call a women a slut.
02/07/2012
I've never been called a slut but it would bother me.
06/14/2012
When he does use that term for me, it is in a joking way, so it doesn't bother me. He'd never call me that as an actual insult but if he did, I'd probably cry
06/14/2012
my husband will jokingly say things like that, but I know it's not true, so it doesn't bother me.
06/14/2012
It depends on the context in which it is said and who is saying it.
06/14/2012
Whoops, sorry, I guess I didn't read the question thoroughly. If my current boyfriend did, I'd get offended because he doesn't use words like that. If someone I was with did it and I knew they meant it in an endearing or sexy way, I'd enjoy it.
06/14/2012
My husband would never call me a slut.
06/14/2012
I don't think I've ever called anyone a slut.
06/14/2012
i chose other cause i have been called things worst than that and men call you all kind of things when they are mad
06/14/2012
For us, it is a term of endearment, and I don't find it offensive one bit.
However, I wouldn't call anyone else a slut, except in the bedroom, and only if I knew they (like me) liked that.

06/14/2012
My husband has only ever called me a slut in the bedroom after I let him know I was in that kind of mood. If he called me a slut without prior permission of some sort I'd be offended and hurt.
06/14/2012
Only when it's not during hot sex
06/14/2012
Sometimes during sex Partner will call me slut...I'm really not for or against it. It doesn't upset me but it don't do nothing for me either.
06/14/2012
If we're joking around, I don't care if the word slut or bitch gets tossed around,, but if it's in bed that would be a turn-off.
06/14/2012
she calls me a slut all the time idc i know shes just messing around
06/14/2012
yes i'd be very upset.. not cool
06/14/2012
It's hot for both of us
06/14/2012
His tone of voice/the mood is my determining factor.
06/14/2012
I have in the bedroom but would NEVER do it any other situation.
