We all know about "hotel sex", but I was wondering if on vacation you tend to have more sex because you are more relaxed and have less to do, or are you more "busy" with fun and so have less time for intimate fun??

I think we might have more sex while on vacation because we don't have the daily responsibilities to deal with and there's the fun of the hotel bed, in room jacuzzi, massive shower, balcony, etc.

I'd say yes - generally on vacation we'll have sex most days. At home it's mostly on weekends.

I don't think so. Every time we've been on vacation, our sex habits have stayed about the same. 1-3 times a week is our habit depending on our schedules & during vacations, it stays about the same, but we do get out and do a lot of activities when we're on vacation or we'd probably have more.

It depends on the vacation--if we are traveling to an event, specific activity, etc. no. If we are just seeing new country, going to a favorite place, buying bikes--definitely!! (Got to do something to make the miles go faster!!)

We have more sex when we're away. It's something about not being surrounded by everyday stress inducers.

We get in the mood much easier when we don't have laundry around, garbage to take out, or a bathroom to clean. It just feels more free I suppose.

Way more sex on vacation. Our lives are too busy for the most part. When we go away we get to focus on each other which is just great. We look forward to any time we can make the rest of the world go away and leave us alone.

I think part of it is the thrill of having sex somewhere new. But it may partly because we don't have any other responsibilities to distract us. Whatever it is, we love sex on vacation!

Our "vacation time" is usually tacked on to visiting friends and my husband likes to go go go. So I'm usually not relaxed enough to want to have sex by the time we get back to a hotel. So I'm more of the "at-home" sex type.
