I know...I know. STDs, pregnancy, etc. There are tons of risks to not using condoms every single time (and for the whole time) if they are your only form of birth control. However, I feel like this is more easily said and understood than done! What do you think?
Have you ever had to use condoms exclusively as birth control, and were you able to?

I've pretty much always been on BC. When I was single, condoms were more often used. But not always. Now that we are married, they are only used every once in a while... when I am highly fertile usually or get a gut feeling! I REALLLLLLY don't want to get preggo!

I've always been on the pill, and now I have an IUD. I don't use condoms anymore, but I'm also monogamous with my partner, so STD's aren't a concern.

I'd have to side in with kissy on this one! I'd like to use condoms during high preggo chances. But other than that I use them once in a blue moon in my monogamous relationship. When I was single I'd use them all the time! I gotta stay a clean little boy now

I'm a bit allergic to my guy's semen, so he puts it on when he's almost ready to cum.

We have used them exclusively several times in the past for up to two years. Not crazy about them, but at least no pregnancy.

There's no way I can use condom for oral... It tastes terrible. At least I am in a stable relationship with a very healthy partner.

Hormones disagree with me, so I'm using condoms exclusively for birth control. I'm very grateful I'm not allergic to latex (yet...)
I'm considering using VCF as a backup, though, as I'm also not sensitive to nonoxoyl-9.

We use condoms only since i had SEVERE health issues being on the pill (like, emotional). We always finish with one (unless we are TTC) but about i dont' know, 3% of the time we might not wear one to start.
And we've never done oral with one.

we used them before we were married. After the marriage, we did not use anything. Then after we had our two sons, she had a IUD inserted. The copper one, no hormones.

Birth Control does do well with my wife. So that leaves us with condoms and they have worked well for us for over 5 years. Not even a scare.
We buy the Durex Love brand. I don't mind them, although it does make my penis very sensitive if i don't wear one.

I have back when I first started because I didn't want to deal with explaining birth control to my family, but it got too difficult.

I was on the pill and got preggers with my first child. Shortly after her birth, I was hospitalized and found out I've got a blood clotting disorder that is exacerbated by hormones (pregnancy, birth control, etc).
So after that it was condom only. I wasn't the best at that either - have another child and have since had a tubal.
So to answer the question - yes I've had to solely rely on them, and no I couldn't really stick with it

I used condoms in high school exclusively with one partner. Thank goodness it worked for me. I use birth control now. I'm on the patch and love it!

Hormonal birth control just doesn't agree with me right now, so we use condoms every time since we don't want another child right now.
No reason to use condoms for oral since we're in a long term, monogamous relationship. They're birth control only for us.

I have totally had to use them at some point in my life. Now I don't like to and my SO and I have be together a while and we will welcome a child if that were to happen. But in my past no I would always insist on useing one no matter what she said.
