Hypothetically speaking, would this be as the top or the bottom?

(I mean, I know this poll isn't directed at me but I've got questions...)

I may give in at some point, but I've gone a long time without sex before, I could handle a year or so. Oh, and as Arthur, not Martha.

My fiance says never. He's been in the air force, away from me for years at a time, but has managed to actually go without sex. He actually only had time to masturbate once or twice the first year he was gone. He says it really depends on your sexuality and what you were open for to begin with. If a straight man is really straight, and becomes sexually frustrated, he will use his two hands or get creative with the materials given on the island.

Amazing that you fail to list "never" as an option.

There are a lot of unisex situations, from Antarctic stations to submarines, where men may be in the company of other men and NOT have sex. Same with Woman, I am sure.

I really believe that you must be attracted, in some way, to another human to have sexual feelings.

Just the "sensation" and "release" I can get from my hand or a watermelon...and I, personally, would be fantasizing about a woman.

If one is hardwired to be interested in another man, or a woman to a woman..whatever, then it is just "how long before they might choose to bond". A heterosexual man or woman, I bet in almost every situation, would end up with a real answer of "zero".

In fact, there was a study of prisons that showed that the whole deal of "male/male" sex was more myth then reality. The majority of inmates apparently simply masturbated and never had sex with other men.

Simply being without a partner of the sex you are attracted to naturally, does not in any way create sexual attraction if there is no chemistry to begin with.

Put another way, ask a completely Gay man, if you were stuck on a deserted island with a woman, how long before you would be having regular sexual relations with her?

I'm also surprised that "never" wasn't given as an option, as it'd be my answer.
