Girl, I promise there is no reason for you to be concerned, and it happens a lot. Sex is a uniquely personal thing. Women especially, are more cerebral about a sexual encounter, we enjoy the intimacy and the connection as much as the physical sensation and toys don't replicate that. If you feel the need for a solo session, you have the equipment, but there is nothing wrong with preferring sex with a partner. If you are interested in trying something out and there isn't a partner around, phone sex can be a great way to still get that human connection while alone in your bed.

I am similar to you in that playing with toys by myself is not a huge motivator.

That said, I have played with a lot of toys by myself while anal training. I aimed to stretch my limits and learned to accommodate bigger and bigger toys over time. Which eventually led to being able to be fisted (which was never a goal of mine- I just reached a point where I could). I also learned to orgasm anally while playing solo, which was a major milestone for me, and was a goal.

I played/practiced solo for a number of years. I pretty much met my goals and pushed my limits beyond what I ever thought possible, and finally felt.. satisfied.

Now I enjoy using my acquired skills with partners but do not play with any toys solo.
