As Ansley said, some men can't get off from just oral stimulation. But I agree that you don't need to take it all the way into your mouth. I actually don't get much from deepthroating. A few years ago I was having this problem and though it was my fault, however later I discovered he was intentionally trying not to cream so it would last longer for him. You could also take a break and, instead of swallowing his cock, play with his balls with your mouth but continue to give him a hand job.
