I have been having a hard time get a job and I am now no longer available for unemployment. I have been thinking about working in phone sex (if you know how I can please let me know) and have thought if I were thinner and comfortable with my body would I do web cam? I think not cause you do have to show your face but wonder if I could wear a mask if I would do it. I am no sure.

Useful topic breakdown on Oral sex enhancers:
perineum
How many girls know about the perineum? If you do licking or massaging the area can be extremely amazing. Ok now how many just looked it up?
Lock jaw when giving oral?
Ok I need help on this one for real. Recently I have been experiencing lock jaw when giving head. I haven't always had this problem but here recently
Ladies, do you have to ask your man for oral, or does he just "go there"? If he just "goes there", does he ask "permission first"?
Just wondering what the average approach involves with different couples. (sorry...question was hard to put into words for anyone other then male,...
Do you use condoms when you give blowjobs?
For those who are in non-monogomous relationships or hooking up with someone, do you make them use a condom when you perform oral sex on them?

Is face sitting a form of BDSM?? At first i thought it was just another position for oral but then a few days ago i found some few face sitting videos

I've thought about cam work for a little extra cash. I'd have to do some more research first, but it seems like it might be fun. I know there are quite a few folks on EF that cam or have done so in the past. I'm sure somebody would be able to give you some helpful tips.
03/12/2011
I've thought about it before but was hesitant to expose my identity to everyone. Plus my mom does my taxes still and that would be awkward.
03/12/2011
I wouldn't mind doing phone work. Camera work wouldn't be too bad either.

I've thought about, but not seriously yet. I do nude model for art classes though.

I say call colleges in your area and ask them is they use nude models for their art class or ask to be transfer for the art department.

I have been curious about this for a long time. I finally broke down to try it- webcamming only so far. I might do the phone thing if I get good at it.

I definitely thought about it. If I wouldn't have had kids so early I probably would be in the industry. I wouldn't have had anything to hold me back, lol. Not saying I regret the life I have, just saying my life would have been completely different.

I did phone sex work for about two years. I had thought about it for a long time (my best friend and I first started talking about it in our freshman year of college) and I did a *lot* of research before I chose a company to go with. There are a lot of scam companies out there willing to take advantage of naive newcomers, but the company I worked for was awesome and really knew how to take care of their employees as well as their customers.
All in all, I have to say that I enjoyed my time as a PSO. Honestly? It was a fascinating look into human psychology for me, as well as an eye-opener as to the types of men (and women!) who use phone sex lines. Unfortunately, though, I also got to know the dark side of human nature, as obviously there are some unsavoury characters out there with some pretty unsavoury fantasies. Luckily, the company I worked for was open to letting each PSO set their own boundaries, and so we were never expected to take part in a fantasy that made us uncomfortable in any way (which is another thing to research carefully when looking for a company to sign up with; some companies have a "no-taboo" policy, which means that PSOs have no say in which fantasies they take part in. And you don't realize how skeezy some fantasies can be until some guy calls in and wants to pretend he's Charles Manson and you're one of his victims *shudder*)
But honestly, if I had it to do all over again, I'd definitely do it. It's not as easy as you would think, and you only get out of it what you put into it, but if you're willing to work hard and keep consistent hours, you can do pretty well with it.

I wouldn't be interested in live cam work or phones, but I've thought about selling clips, photos, etc. I already sell pics, clips, and worn items from my feet, and sometimes worn underwear or pantyhose, but nothing showing a sexual act. I don't think my husband would be very happy about that.

I am webcam model and a phone sex operator when the mood strikes me. I also run a small porn production company with the hubs, and have produced several amateur videos of myself.
This being said do not be fooled by the job, webcam work is not "easy" work if you plan to make some money at it. You have to be competitive and driven.
If anyone is interested in the work and has any questions you could message me on here or e-mail if you prefer. I am more than happy to help out some fellow sex enthusiasts!

I've never thought about it, personally. But I can definitely understand people looking into it, especially with how the economy is now. It's interesting to hear from people who have been in the industry!
03/31/2011
Im a webcam model, and I have done phone sex before, the hardest part is pso is finding a good company. I personally prefer webcam because it pays more. I am recently getting into making homemade porn to sell online for passive income.
03/31/2011
I have thought about doing it before as I was asked one time to do some movies for this website. I did a scene but it wasnt all that great of a job. There is a lot more to it then most people think.
03/31/2011
I never considered PSO or anything like that. Maybe semi-nude housekeeping but I'm pretty sure my man would veto that in -10 seconds!

Good question...
I've done nude for art classes at various colleges and universities--it's Zen, meditative...requires a LOT of focus though. Pays ok, several dollars above the minimum wage for my state.
I've done fetish and implied nude modeling. The pay was decent, but the photographers and makeup artists were flaky, and some of the photographers were creepy. I loved it, because I'm sort of a performer, but it was just weird and such a competitive harsh world. Not for me.
I go-go danced at a gay bar, which paid great I got paid measly $30 by the bar, but the tips were so worth it. Plus free drinks, great aerobic workout, and glow toys!
I've stripped at a no-touch club and adored it. I made a great living and payed off my student loans and did wonderful things with the money. I loved it until they decided to go touch .
Switched clubs to a bigger one with a better reputation, made lotsa cash that way. I did amateur nights--that's usually $500 to the first place girl, for a couple hours of standing around and a few minutes of a song!
Stripping at the touch club sucked. The money was great but the managers were evil, the customers were either lovely or pure scum, and the hours sucked. I woke up so late, so sore. My body won't be the same and I stripped only part time for under two years.
You'll likely get a "high" from any sex work. The power and money and praise are such a huge-ass rush. You might never believe the honeymoon period will be over, but in 95% of cases (scientific, huh?), the woman's psyche was somehow damaged. My heart goes out to a lot of the beautiful, lovely, brilliant women (mothers, business women, wives, former addicts, current addicts....) who feel they have no choice.
That's the crux of the situation. If one does sex work out of desperation, it can become incredibly stressful, competitive, and make you generally feel cruddy.
That's just my experience, and the experiences I have heard from friends and co-workers. You need a tough skin. The most BEAUTIFUL, TONED, GORGEOUS playmate-type women get called fat and ugly. That's how it is.
My self-esteem was great until the stripping. It was good for awhile, but then every flaw was pointed out.
I do miss the stage. The stage was my home. I chose the lights, the music, strobes, outfits, everything. I did yoga on the damn stage. The money rocked, and the performing, but the private rooms/the hard hustle to get dances/the groping sucked. Eventually I had to quit, because I had to choke someone out because he got really aggressive in VIP. At least the bouncers treated him to some nice rough love
That's my story! Sorry for the novel! Getting into web camming now. I won't be touched that way, and I can leave any time I want if I don't like it. I won't be financially rich perhaps, but my psyche won't be robbed blind. Hopefully.
I'd totally do the semi-nude housework! I'm going to do nude housework for my webcam actually. Get paid to clean my house...yes, please.
I've done so much sex work. It helps a LOT when you are student because of the schedules, the pay, etc. I got my books paid for once for a semester! Guys can be great: my dog needed surgery and I got a huge amount to cover it. I'm glad I did everything I did--no regrets. I miss stripping EVERY DAY. I miss it badly. I worked three nights a week, tops. Currently I write and blog, just need to work soon because my savings are running out (quit in August). So camming is next til my partner gets the new gig he's after....
There's huge pros and cons to this industry, much more so than most others, I feel. Trying it out couldn't hurt---just don't get swept away, please. It is a seductive world.
For you, you could strip in a different city. They often offer really good deals for food and hotels for the weekend, or Thursday-Saturday, and can be flexible. You can also put on a wig and a new persona and maybe a spray tan, etc, glasses....it's dark and you wouldn't likely be recognized. I have been recogized once only, and I danced in my town. It wasn't a big deal. He got weird but he was banned for life They scan every guy's ID and blacklist them if they are trouble.
You could definitely do like a masquerade mask if you want to do a dramatic BDSM persona on webcam! And a wig....Plus, if the dude is paying $5/min to see a girl on a cam, and they recognize the girl, they are the culprit, you know? They can't go say, "I saw Jane on Cams.com! She was doing really dirty things!" Because then he looks like a creeper
And weight...pfff....some of the top girls I worked with (and LOVED hustling with because they rocked at it and we worked well together) were nowhere near slender. Or even toned. I worked with a lady who was about 5'4" (without those shoes!) and easily 200, easily! She did well because my club was full of skinny little things, or big fakey boob types. I believe webcam is the same. BBW is a huge market (pun was bad, oops).
Oh and with camming you can block out regions. So if you live in Topeka and went to college in Ann Arbor, block 'em! You can block out COUNTRIES, even.
Let us know if you do anything Or if you don't! ALL sex work can be hard on the soul, the libido, sometimes the body (stripping), relationships, self-esteem and so many things. So try it, but think HARD, please.
Sorry to be so opinionated. I just have strong, strong feelings about the industry. Mixed ones that drive me bonkers sometimes.
Good luck. Being unemployed is rough.

I have thought about doing webcam work, because I really like camsex. I tried cam4, once, but it was largely boring. I like people to ask me to take my clothes off, and it was hard to get much attention with my clothes on.

Good luck. Being unemployed is rough. less
I have to say - I'm jealous
It had crossed my mind in the past for doing some kind of sex work. But I don't have the figure for it at all.
I thought recently about doing webcam work. I know there are some big girls on there but I still don't feel I'd get much business.

I do think a lot of young girls may think it's something they can do and walk away totally unscathed, even if they are doing it under duress. And, although a lot of women really love the work, I appreciate your talking about needing a thick skin and having to protect your psyche.
With this economy, I think more women are looking to this kind of work, often because there are simply so few jobs. While it may be a good fit for some women, from what I've seen those who are comfortable with themselves, are strong and not easily shaken up by others comments, don't get "offended" easily and can look at in a realistic light do the best with the least fall out on their psyche.
Thank you for letting us know that it IS hard work and talking about the good as well as the bad.

Shellz, to me it seems completely mundane by now! I do feel lucky I have had the gumption and bravery to throw caution to the wind and do all of the things I've done.
As for worrying about bigger girls--there are entire cam sites devoted to BBW fetishists. I don't know if you "qualify" for that category, or if you simply mean you have a little extra. Because go surf around some of the big cam sites and you will definitely see all kinds of bodies. Some of the girls who are soft, untoned, not necessarily BBW...are always in private chat.
It's way more the roleplay, dirty-talk, catering specifically to your niche(s) than anything else. Camming has a huge learning curve. I took to stripping like a fish to water; first day til the day I hung up my 8-inch heels was nothing but a constant cash cow. For me it wasn't worth it.
Camming I make so little money in comparison, it seems SILLY, but I'd rather have a lean savings account and my sanity than a fat wallet that gets no use because I'm stuck in a straightjacket (I am not exaggerating, it was literally, literally driving me to mental places I didn't like).
NOT saying I didn't LOVE stripping and don't long for it every day, but addicts say the same thing, yeah? One has to look at her personality and decide for herself if she is right for the job: thick-skinned, things roll right off the back, able to deal with either a JEALOUS man (possibly secretly jealous and resentful of your income, hours, etc too and not just the fact that thousands of men see and/or touch you every night) OR a life of no real dating prospects beyond trophyfucks. It's a sad reality that most men don't like it. You get a few who LOVE it, but why do they love having a partner who strips? Is it the money? Quite possibly. Is it a fetish, somewhat akin to cuckholding? You have to decide if you are ok with those things. BEFORE you start getting all that cash.
Oh and you probably will burn out. And it never comes back, that I've seen! So if you LOVE it, pace yourself so you can love it for a good, long time. I wish I would have.
Take all this with a grain of salt. I just think so many women out there have false views of sex work (men do, too, of course). They think it's easy, glamorous, fun, and has no repercussions. Sometimes you see those repercussions too late. Almost always, sex workers develop a different view of men, and some develop racist stereotypes that are difficult to shake. Most end up with some form of Post Traumatic Stress. But I do think if you have the urge and thought it through, TRY it. Because you don't want any "what-ifs" lingering. The Mature category in sex work is very popular though So the clock isn't ticking away that quickly.....
BUT--sex work may be hard work with lots of caveats...it still is GREAT money if you apply yourself and are a diehard saleswoman. You are your own boss, which is a fantastic feeling! Depending what you do and which avenue you take, you can get paid in cash on a regular basis (which can be a pain for doing taxes, but please do them to legitimize this business and save your own ass). If you are a natural party type person, you can usually drink on the job (some require it!), often smoke on the job (if you cam, you get smoking fetishists), flirt, stay out/up all night, be the center of attention, and soak in all of the good vibes. In camming you get paid to freaking masturbate and show off your toys! There are maaany good points. I didn't mean to make it sound so...dire? Sad? because it can be amazing. For some.
I could write so much more, but excuse the Novel Part II as it is, haha. If anyone has any questions at all, message me, don't be shy...I am really actually a nice person.
P'Gell, thank you, I really appreciate that. I also think you put it amazingly well, a few key prhases being: unscathed, under duress. I appreciated reading such a clear-headed post about the sex industry, I'm glad you posted ...
