The trick to ensuring a guy cums from oral is to use more than just the mouth. You need to have a hand on the shaft and be pumping up and down at the same time as you are sucking on the head.

This is a pretty common problem actually. For a lot of men fellatio just doesn't provide quite enough pressure or friction for them to reach orgasm. My partner has a much harder time reaching orgasm from fellatio. He still enjoys it greatly and I've spent as much as an hour going down on him. Don't try to put so much pressure on reaching orgasm. Just relax and enjoy and appreciate the sensations whether you ejaculate or not. You are more likely to reach orgasm if you don't focus on it.

*raises hand* I have not come from oral since 1981. My current SO loves giving BJs and I really like the feeling so we do this often with no risk of "finishing".
