I think you both missed the part where I said they're fine once in a while, just not constantly. If you want to wipe up before sex or once a day or so, that's fine, but every time you pee is excessive and can mess up your vulva's delicate pH balance.

It's no wonder why so many people smell (and taste) rancid nowadays. "Great" tips like these. I believe that everyone takes them out of context; they seem to only be taking about extreme cases where the person has incessant wetness vaginally. less

My gynecologist was talking about women in general, not just ones with "incessant wetness."
Most women do wear cotton panties, I don't know too many women who wear pantyhose daily (actually, I know of none), and wetness and a musky scent are normal. Besides, what's worse: natural muskiness, or a yeast infection?
It's fine if you prefer your genitals or your partner's genitals a certain way, I was simply countering the idea that things will "grow" in your pubic hair, and I felt the need to point out that MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS have told me it's fine to have a bit of a smell down there, male or female.
Olive oil and crisco can be used as lubricants anally.
