So I just finished reading and reviewing a book called "The Elusive Orgasm", which is a self-help guide for women who have issues reaching orgasm. So I was wondering, just how many ladies out there have experienced problems with this?
Do you have Orgasm Issues?

I don't have any issues myself.

when she relaxes, she orgasms easily.

I had problems when I first starting having sex, but now on most days I am able to.
11/10/2012
I would say I have issues because I cannot reach orgasm every time I would like. I do orgasm most times with PIV sex, but I have never had a g-spot orgasm. I can no longer orgasm during masturbation without a toy. But I want to note that this is why I got toys. The inability to reach orgasm was the catalyst for toy purchases, not the result of toy use. I have also gotten several kegal enhancing products and that helps improve orgasms too.

I have issues, and it's the reason I came here in the first place. I can't orgasm with a partner at all no matter how much I want to and we try. The only way I can get off at all is clitorally and I just was able to do that within the year. (I was 30 when I achieved my 1st clitoral orgasm) I have never had a vaginal or g-spot orgasm.
11/10/2012
Usually I'm able to, but some days it just doesn't happen...
11/10/2012
I have issues sometimes, but toys help a lot.
11/10/2012
I can orgasm when I'm alone but sometimes have difficulty doing so with a partner. It just depends.
11/10/2012
As we get older - both my wife and have occasional issues. Toys usually solve the problem - but not always.

Cat E.
I'm very happy to say that I have no trouble in that area. *smiles*
11/12/2012
I have off days, but I usually have no problem
11/12/2012
I can orgasm just fine but not w/ a partner that's so, so.
11/13/2012
I can always orgasm, as long as I haven't already orgasmed earlier that same day, though I have an occasional day where I have to break out a super strong vibrator to make it happen.
11/14/2012
I usually can orgasm, but sometimes it just isn't happening. Sometimes when I'm trying something new I (obviously) have some trouble so I just revert back to my old standby techniques.
11/15/2012
I never have issues when I'm alone. If I'm with a partner it's easier if I'm comfortable with the person.

I hate those off days

I usually don't have issues.

I've never had one ever. No clue what I'm doing wrong either. Oh well

I have issues once in a while, but I know that it's not a big deal. I can relax and just enjoy what I'm doing even if I know I'm not going to be able to come. The important part is to remember that if it feels good, just go with it.
Another great book about orgasms is I Love Female Orgasm. I wrote a review recently, and I really loved the book!

Always need some 'help'...which is a bit of downer, but only if you over-think it.

Yep, me too. If its during intercourse, I need a vibrator to climax. I can climax during oral though.

I love the 'only if I drink first' option. xD Reminds me of certain characters I play at timesss.
But it's more like, for me, I occasionally have trouble (with or without a partner) but it's usually ok. MUCH more issues with partners, though, I can almost always masturbate successfully.

Ha! I actually got the idea for that option out of the book. It was one of the types discussed

I read that book too, and I found it really interesting.
I orgasm easily and multiple times. I don't like all this buzzy clit stimulation that seems to be popular with lots of ladies. Those orgasms feel awkward and shallow to me...with none of the depth of sensation that the ones I usually have give me. I orgasm internally from oral, manual or vaginal stimulation with toys or a penis.....and I can ride the wave of orgasms to have lots and lots. The book was fascinating to me, because I know my own body, and I know that what works for me might not work for others....but we're complicated creatures, you know? How much is mental and how much is physical?
It was a cool read.
