Newb to multiple orgasms

Contributor: Rockin' Rockin'
I had a pleasant surprise while getting off recently: After I came the first time, I had another orgasm about two minutes after the first one, if not sooner. I was really surprised that I had a 2nd orgasm because usually my clit gets too sensitive after the first one. This time, however, I was just using a dildo and my fingers to stimulate myself, so I think that made it easier to keep going, somehow.

For those of you who have multiple orgasms, what things work best for you? How do you keep up the intensity and keep enjoying yourself?

I'd love to hear suggestions for both solo play and partner play. Looking forward to your responses.

I've never had a multiple orgasm--it's always taken another hour+ to orgasm again, even with continuous stimulation of my clit. I always thought I was just broken.

I'm glad to hear that you experienced one.

I actually have better luck with multiple orgasms in the way you described; with a dildo and fingers. Or sometimes just fingers. A vibe will give me an orgasm in just a few minutes, but it leaves me super sensitive too.

It's not that hard for me to have multiple orgasms in a row.

With a vibrator on my clitoris, it can be tricky... But it's usually easy if I start at a lower setting, then get off on the mid-level setting. I can come again if I just pause for a minute, then continue on high.

And if I'm turned on enough, I can always orgasm two times in a row or more, if I press my thighs together and rock. The pressure is an easy way for me to bypass oversensitivity!! If I'm still feeling the pleasure, a bit of pressure pushes me over the edge, sometimes with a bit of effort.

I've been trying to use a vibe for a longer period of time (after orgasm) to get my body used to the sensation. I used to feel completely overwhelmed by vibration just after orgasm but I'm learning to enjoy the intense sensations now. I haven't been able to have orgasms as close together with vibes, though, which makes me think I'm "falling" down back into the plateau of arousal and then working back up to orgasm, instead of having multiple orgasms (staying at/near the highest levels of arousal).

Thanks for your experience!

I'll usually try turning the vibe down a bit, so it's a bit gentler, as I build up to orgasm. That helps me reach orgasm, but not be so overly sensitive right after. Then right after, I'll sometimes turn the vibe off entirely and just apply pressure. Then as I get close again, I'll turn it back on fairly low. It is a delicate dance trying to get just the right amount of power to stay up at that level without making yourself overly sensitive. But boy is it fun trying! lol

For me during solo sessions, I just need to remove any stimulation from my clit for a short period of time, and then come back to it in a minute or two. During sex, if we're using a vibrator, I need to turn it off, and then wait a minute or two, then start back in on the lowest setting, and then work up to a higher one.
