Ladies: How old were you when you had your first orgasm without clitoral stimulation? (I've fixed the poll to include people over 32. sorry about the mistake. Ignore the last poll with this title.)

Contributor: Lucidity Lucidity
I've seen statistics, but I'm extremely curious how common it is and how much practice it takes to have orgasms without clitoral stimulation. I know there are some women who have non-clitoral orgasm the first time they have penetration, but how rare is it really? I get the feeling, that for most of us, it's something that takes years of practice.

The first part of the pole is your current age, and the second part is the age you were when you had your fist non-clitoral orgasm.

Please feel free to elaborate on how common this is for you, if it only happened once, if you can only do it with a toy, with a partner, if you had to work hard at it (or not), et cetera.

(and men, you are of course welcome to answer for your partners if you truly know the answer)

Also, if anyone can tell me how to delete my previous poll, that would be fantastic! Thanks (and my apologies again).

I've always kind of enjoyed g-spot stimulation more than clitoral stimulation, but I've only ever come from clitoral stim. Odd. Maybe some day. I shall continue trying!

I've had combination orgasms (or, I think they're combination orgasms), but it's always been with clitoral stimulation.

I fear never being able to have an orgasm without clitoral stimulation.

I find the trickiest part to be holding back from adding clitoral stimulation in those crucial moments, so I've had more blended than straight g-spot, but with a fair bit of work I can manage it. Clitoral stimulation has to be a part of the warm up, though. Trying to stimulate the g-spot without prior arousal is pretty hopeless, since it's made of erectile tissue.

I feel I should mention, that the main reason for this poll, is that most men I've talked to feel that the women they are with climax the majority of the time they have sex, solely with straight PIV sex. And I'm talking women under the age of 22 here. To me, that just seems like a statistic impossibility. So I'm kind of trying to prove my hypothesis that A) these women either fake orgasms at their young age, or don't know what a "true" orgasm feels like and B) That it takes work and practice for most women to achieve orgasm without clitoral stimulation. I've had guys tell me it takes me soooo much longer for me to get off than every other girl they've been with (wrong thing to say, obviously), but I think it's just that the other girls fake it and I don't.

Anybody else have this experience? I mean, it doesn't take me an epically long time to reach orgasm, just longer than 15 minutes if I've had no foreplay and I'm not using a vibrator.

I had my first vaginal orgasm before I was 16. To this day, I am rarely able to orgasm without some kind of penetration be it deep vaginal penetration or anal penetration. Clitoral stimulation has to be pretty intense for me to get much out of it, but I can not orgasm from it alone.

I spoke to my doctor about this briefly while discussing hysterectomies and uterine ablation side effect in regards to orgasms. She suggested that we hold off on any surgeries and see if my body could work itself out since I achieve uterine orgasms more than the other type (I had no idea that was such a thing until she asked my a bunch of questions and said that is what kind I typically have--I've now learned that it is also called the A-spot orgasm). She suggested that with the lose of my uterus, sex probably would not be as pleasurable for me and was not a chance I was willing to take right now.

I think my first one was probably some time around 17, when I first got the hang of sex and was able to get pleasure from it. It makes sense to me, since neither of us really knew what to do other than him putting his penis in me.

Wow. It's awesome that your doc was honest with you about all the risks involved in your surgeries. Also that you can achieve uterine orgasms!

My girl can take a good 10-20 minutes to orgasm - even after extensive foreplay. I rather enjoy it - in fact I'm disappointed if she comes too soon. When that happens, I'm immediately trying to give her #2 - or more.

I was fifteen. I knew vaginal orgasms existed, but I had always read that they were very difficult to achieve. I had tried a few times, but after some frustration just started playing with toys just 'cause it felt good. Next thing you know, one day whilst totally lost in fantasy, I had an orgasm. After that they came pretty easily, provided I had a clitoral orgasm first.

G-spot, or whatever internal type of orgasms, were the first kind I ever had. And all I ever knew about for about four years, until I accidentally stumbled upon clitoral orgasms.

The internal ones are extremely easy for me to achieve, and I have innumerable multiples of them.

The clitoral orgasm is fairly difficult for me to achieve, and I can only have one, maybe two, before I have to stop.

I feel that it's pretty damn obvious that those men don't know what they're talking about. But most are like that, especially younger ones. They think they can fully satisfy any woman, anytime, and that she always orgasms. It's just arrogance mixed with ignorant insecurity. Not that all men are like that, or stay like that. But a huge chunk are in that stupid mindset.

Studies suggest that 75% of women can't orgasm from intercourse alone and require oral, manual, or toy stimulation. And that 10-15% of women have never been able to achieve orgasm at all - ever!

I have a hard time having an orgasm from clitoral stimulation - and it's almost impossible without penetration. I guess I'm weird.

I discovered my G-spot by accident when I was about 16 I think (and gushed a bit, imagine my surprised) but it only felt good while I was stimulating my clit at the same time. So for years I've been having combination orgasms almost exclusively - I just kind of assumed I needed to touch my clit to get my G-spot to do its thing.

Recently, however, I've realized that I have a situation that's similar to Toygeek's insofar as I kind of stimulate my clit out of convenience rather than necessity. I've learned that I can have orgasms just through vaginal stimulation, but they do take a little more focus and a higher state of arousal.

Hahaha, if only they knew...

I hope that the number of women who have never achieved orgasm gets smaller and smaller as our society becomes a more open and accepting sexual climate. It makes me so sad when I hear about a woman who's never climaxed.

I am almost 25 and just within the last year have I discovered having an orgasm WITH clitoral stimulation. For me, the only real way for me to get off is with penetration.
