I get some distance to mine. One time I got it from the end of the bed to the tv which was a little more than two feet. Most of the time mine are pretty forceful but I usually have something in the way to block the flow, if you catch my drift. (hehehe, I love that emoticon)

My girlfriend has only started squirting. mostly it is a gush which can fill my hand and soak the bed underneath. However, when it happens I work my fingers a bit and it gets about 1 foot or just over as she says she felt it hit her foot.
