So with sex toys do you just have to keep getting stronger ones? I have heard that vibes can desensitize your clit and make orgasams harder to cum by. What is everybody's thoughts and gas anybody heard about this?

I would say it depends on the person, their preferences and also the toys you use. I have not come across a threshold because I am more sexual in my head than in my body. If that makes sense. I have used toys for about 5-6 years and have different vibrators for every mood. I usually have 4-8 orgasms per session and have not noticed the lack of sensation except for when I have vibed too long. It goes back to normal by the next day.

Been using toys for about 6 years, too. In my opinion they made my orgasms better and easier to achieve even if I'm not using them. I love how Emily Nagosky answered this (the question is in the comments, not in the main post). They alter our expectations, not our genitals. If you need 15 minutes of constant, rhythmic hand-work to get off and then get a vibe that gets you there in 5 (and the orgasm is SO MUCH stronger) then the hand-made orgasms will loose some of their appeal.
