Does anyone have a harder time achieving a clitoral orgasm?

Contributor: removedacnt removedacnt
I know I'm ass backwards as usual, but I have a harder time achieving a clitoral orgasm than a g spot one.

The first orgasm I ever had was a g spot one. And I can have mulitple of these during sex. I didn't discover the clitoral one until I was around 25 and that was quite by accident. We were in a new position that caused friction there. I didn't even realize it at the time, but of course I do now. Years later I read an article about masterbation and how to do it, and that's how I finally figured it out.

But still to this day, I can get off vaginally very quickly but it takes 20 to 30 minutes to get my clit off.

Can anyone else relate?

I have always had clitoral orgasms and I have only over the last few years been able to have g-spot/clitoral (combined) orgasms. In both cases it takes me about 20 minutes. However, If I use a butt plug or have anal sex (all the while I stimulate my clit)it takes me about 2-5 minutes. The time it takes also depends on the extent at which I am aroused. On average though I would say 20 minutes.

Sometimes I sure wish it only took 2-5 minutes. LOL

I am the total opposite, and if I am not careful it takes me 20-30 seconds not minuted with my clit.

I'm still working on the g-spot orgasm, but I can always have a clitoral one. It ranges between about 3 minutes to about 30. Sometimes I try to hold back when we're having sex.

I'm like you newme21. Now that I can have g-spot orgasms, I find that they're MUCH easier to achieve than clitoral orgasms.

My clit is picky. It will go off under the hitachi in about 5 mins - but most of the time, I'm looking at 30 mins. I can get off with my g-spot in like, um, two strokes?

I've been with my fair share of girls, and the clit is a tricky and many faceted thing. I am green with envy at anyone who can get off by rubbing their clit in just a few minutes.

My g-spot, oh my precious g-spot, how I love you

Well good to know I'm not the only one. And I NEED to get me one of those Hitachi's. I keep reading and wondering if it would work that fast for me.

I've always had clit ones until very recently. I got the G Wonder glass shaft and FINALLY found I really do have a G spot!! Clit still comes much quicker than the G though!

So funny how we're all so different. If the G Wonder is the one I'm thinking of then it's in my wishlist. I think it's going to be my next purchase.

The clit is very easy to get off with the Hitachi or Acuvibe just part your lips, and add the vibration usually happens within 5 minutes or less. Although the Hitachi can be too much for some. The G spot is a totaly different story most times it just doesn't happen.

I SO wish I could trade with you, Newme. I am honestly bored with my clit. G-spot orgs are so much better to me, but they come at a higher price. Quite literally- my clit is a cheap whore and my G is like a snobby rich bitch that will have nothing to do with me unless she's being treated with a toy.

Hm. I feel kinda weird cause I just personified my spots. Anyone read Reader's Digest? It can be a new episode, "I am Janie's Clitoris"

Yeah I'm the exact opposite. I have to have a toy or "my fingers", not hubbies for a clit orgasm. And even then it takes me 1/2 an hour at least. I am going to get a hitachi as soon as I have some freed up money. I have to try that toy.

I reckon I'm with you on this one. My clitoris is really difficult to stimulate- I suppose it's actually quite responsive early on and gives me what I think of a sexual release or very mild orgasm with firm pressure and strong vibes. But then it becomes really annoying and hides away (literally probably). I tried manual g spot/clit stimulation and it gave me the most intense sensation ever, but I don't think I climaxed (paranoia about my noise level set in). I'm chasing G-spot toys like the wind now! Sex feels great but wish I could orgasm! Maybe position cushions will go on my wishlist too. Being orgasmically challenged sucks a bit, but maybe I wouldn't be having so much fun with these products otherwise.

I don't have problem with clitoral orgasm now that I've figured out what works for me. I have to start off with gentle stimulation first (usually fingers), and then go to pretty heavy vibes to finish. If I use a high-powered vibe right from the start though, it takes forever or doesn't happen at all. Before I figured that out though I was convinced that my clit was dysfunctional .

Polyserena, I have no problems with the G-spot or vaginal orgasms at all. And I can have a clitoral orgasm but it takes at least half an hour. Good luck with your quest though.

Michele, Is it taking you less time now? Because that is interesting what you wrote about starting off slower.

I absolutely canNOT come from my guy eating me out. He will try for hours sometimes, and it just doesn't work! I get soooo close too, but nothing. I have clitoral orgasms in the tub, the flowing water is my favorite and works best for me. Sometimes I think that is why it is hard for me to come for him; my clit is spoiled lol. I love g-spot orgasms just as much but I tend to have a harder time acheiving them with toys at times. I think I just need to find the right one, or expand my collection and add different kinds. I have always liked the real thing better, but I think everyone does! Maybe not though...

I have yet to have the purely g spot orgasm. I can hit the clitoral orgasm in under 30 min, usually 10 or less depending on how horny I am, and I'll orgasm in about 5 min when stimulating both my clit and my g spot. But I can't seem to get off WITHOUT stimulating my clit somehow.

Oh my God. I am so glad I'm not the only one. When I was trying to have my first orgasm everyone kept telling me to largely rely on my clitoris. The thing is my clit is veeeeeery shy and a little on the insensitive side. I can say I have had clitoral orgasms now but after two years of trying on my own, it took my partner to pry my lips open and stick his sharpened nail into my clit. I'm a pain slut so after five minutes of that, it kind of finally did the trick.

But just recently I've realized that I can have g-spot orgasms no problem. Triple stimulation also does rather well. I just had trouble with an g-spot toys before because I was a virgin.

To each their own. The clitoris isn't necessarily the key to every girl's orgasm.

..just learned to fingerpick clitorally recently, I had used toys or certain positions like 69 or cowgirl before were the only ways to ensure clitoral orgasms. G spot orgasms are easier for me too when with a partner, but I prefer clitoral orgasms. I am so excited to not need a vibrator anymore to achieve clitoral orgasms! once I get going (at least half hour of vaginal and clitoral handling sans vibration) just a touch and I find a fountain of orgasms! Usually triple stimulation really speeds up any orgasm for me too. G-spot orgasms take a lot out of me, clitoral sort of invigorate me in a perfect dreamy way.

My clit is terribly insensitive until I really get it going, but when I was on testosterone treatment (I'm FtM) it grew considerably and made it -incredibly- easier to finish. What use to take 25min took 5. If your clit seems super small and/or insensitive, there are testosterone treatments made for women (who want to STAY female haha, not for transsexuals) that are low dose, they help greatly with boosting your sex drive and making you more sensitive down there, after some time on the low dose treatment you'll probably experience a little growth too (not majorly, but enough to feel a difference). If you're frustrated about having difficulty with clitoral orgasms, maybe mention that you have interest in a low-dose testosterone treatment to your doctor. It is possible to get it without a prescription but it's good to get tested to make sure your liver and blood is healthy, just in case. Since I had to quit my treatment because of a lack of funds, I've shrunken back down to my original size.

Also, I don't think I've ever had a g-spot orgasm. My g-spot is super sensitive, but I can't really say that I've experienced an "orgasm" from it. It's an intense feeling when it's stimulated but it's constant and a very different feeling from a clit orgasm... If I have it's not even 1/4th as strong as a clitoral orgasm for me. Am I doing something wrong? haha

Clit orgasms are so much easier for me. I've very rarely had a g-spot orgasm.
