IMHO, although I find leather restraints super arousing, velcro have more positive points. For example, they are safer for beginners, the chance of getting hurt from one is close to zero, they are easy to get out of. It might be a disadvantage for some, but you can perfect the fantasy of being completely restrained in your mind, leaving yourself a chance to break free - better safe than sorry.
I see all the seductive points of rope and leather, but velcro straps are just a more universal option that fits almost everyone.

I completely agree with you. I do like leather, but velcro is helpful for those who want to be able to break free easily. Rope, on the other hand, to get a quick release off that you would have to cut it.

We have leather collars, leashes, paddles and floggers - but out blindfolds and restraints are Velcro. The Velcro is just more convenient for quick changes.
