I'd like to do a SexIs article on BDSM relationships and archetypes, more of a general 101 thing without getting too specific, while still giving lots of good information. However, before I go into any sort of writing, I'd like to see what types of relationships people are in so I can get an idea of where to center things! If you're in a specific relationship (pet play, CG/l, M/s, anything else) then please reply with it! Of course, if you don't align with any of these, then please add a reply and I will make sure to take it into consideration!

Starting it off with my vote! I am the sub and my partner is my Dom. Primarily, we are just in a Dom/sub relationship, where the both of us take on many roles. He is my Daddy, my Sir, my Mister, my Master, my Owner...lots of things! I am his puppy, his baby boy, his little brat...I try to be the bestest boy for him I'm looking forward to learning more about the people here at EdenFantasys and the kind of relationships that you have.

I am not currently in a relationship, but I prefer to be the Dom. However, I'm not against being a switch either. I'm all about pleasing my (eventual) partner.

Well, I'm not sure if my input will be any use since I'm not actually in a relationship, but I can give some answers based on the experiences I do have!
I do a lot of BDSM-related self-play - things like self-bondage, edging, pain play, etc. It can be a bit tricky to make it work but with a little creativity, there are all kinds of ways to incorporate BDSM into solo sessions. In those scenarios I'm the "sub" (even though I'm technically also the dom ... it gets a bit confusing if you think about it too long )
When I do participate in couple/group play, I have previously subbed but found increasingly that I'm more comfortable with being the dom. If I were to enter a long-term BDSM relationship, I think I would likely end up being a dom-leaning switch.
