Vented Anal Plug...ever made one? How did you do it? Technical Question..for real.

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
I have two "vented" anal plugs..allows "comfortable use all day without build up of gas in colon". However neither is my favorite over some other plugs. Wrong size, wrong shape, wrong material.

I have a UR-2 "Cyberskin" plug I like, but my hubby and I have ruined TWO of them, trying to "drill" a hole through them...from base to tip. No drill bit we try failes to grab the soft "rubber" and rip it up.

SO...any suggestions on how to do this from someone that has successfully "drilled" or put a hole into a rubber toy...CLEANLY?

THANKS for any advice on this.

Cutting rubber isn't an easy task since it's easy to create a tear. I would guess that you'd need a very sharp exacto knife and slowly carve out a vent.

Why not freeze the plug (Or get it cold) and then try drilling a hole? The rubber would be harder and maybe it would be cleaner?

Never made one but I would say use a drill press and drill a little at a time, backing off to allow the shavings to clear. Use lubricant so the rubber doesn't bind up on the sides of the bit, creating a lot of friction and then burning the toy.

I would also suggest you do some practice runs on pieces of old tire to perfect your technique before you drill the real deal.

As opposed to drilling couldnt you just pull out the plug. Relieve some pressure then reinsert.

Bless your heart, I think that defeats the purpose.

Instead of going through the center, why not try carving grooves into the side like Pure plug that Dwtim (iirc) just reviewed? I think he's the resident toy-fixer. Maybe shoot him a message?

Just seems like a better idea than potentially ruining a good toy.

I don't want to put words in the OP's mouth(s), but I believe they'd rather ruin the toy than deal with removing it, releasing the gas/pressure, reinserting. It breaks the play session and the mood.

Well i think that most plugs are going to have different layers and that drilling threw them will ruin the toy. Also I was just thinking wouldnt it be best just to stop once that feeling of pressure starts I mean what if its not just gas. Ive had that pressure feeling before and i worry about making a mess.

I was just thinking about glass plugs. Might it be possible to order one custom made with a vent in it?

I know this is an older post, however, if you are still looking for such a plug I have seen two. One is steel and comes in a couple of sizes. The other is a stretch silicone. Unfortunately, neither is available on EF right now. If you do a search for "funnel butt plug" and for "ass tunnel plug" yo should be able to find them fairly easily. If you can't find them send me a message and I could track them down for you. Maybe if there is a demand EF will consider carrying them. Good luck!

If your toy has a long enough neck you can sometimes push it in a little and let the gas come out around the neck.

Drilling a hole seems like it would make the plug very difficult to keep clean, but if you really want to I'd look for one of the "auger" drill bits or a similar one that has a blade that cuts around the circumference of the hole rather than the common twist drill that scrapes the edges.
