We engage in anal play all the time and have done so for decades without enemas.(and without "soiling") However, every time we have tried an enema (usually on DOCTORS orders before an exam), it is VERY....VERY....uncomf ortable and keeps us running to the bathroom, for HOURS. Not my idea of "prep" for anal play.
However, I have been reading about all the people who do "fun" enemas or "play prep" enema's and am really curious as to what formula's they use and if it causes them to feel like they have to keep "going"? Doesn't this enema really "stir things up" and make the bowel MORE active...rather then relax it (as I want MINE before hubby goes to play there for the afternoon???).
I appreciate your wonderful advice.
THANKS.

My guess is that the ones you used on a doctor's orders had soap in them or some other additive that tries to tie your colon in knots to get everything out - not so much fun. Smaller quantities of warm water or light saline doesn't do that much.
That said, if you don't need one for comfort or cleanliness I'd say skip it. the part that can be called "fun" is just the buttplay, and you can do that just as easily with fingers or toys. Yeah, for a while the warm water coming in can feel interesting and kind of nice-ish, but the water coming out part isn't so fun.
After a small enema I usually wait about 35 mins to an hour for things to settle down and be absorbed. You're not really looking to stimulate a bowel movement if you're generally healthy, just get a little water up there to rinse out any little bits left behind. Again, if your body and diet allow you to play without taking an enema I'd say why bother. Move straight to the toys.
