I use simple water enemas. Depending on what and when I last ate and when my last BM was, it can take from 1 to 4 flushes to get things cleaned out.

I will admit, sometimes the enema makes things worse! But my wife is pretty tolerant and just cleans me up and marches on.

Do you do enemas often. I always thought it was bad health to do them. You remove the healthy bacteria?

We have a bidet toilet seat. It can spray a narrow jet of warm water where the sun don't shine or a wider more gentler flow to clean both front or backside.

We have a Bidet attachment for our toilet with adjustable water pressure as well as temperature... When we're traveling we both really miss it.

No I don't do it often. Since I use only tap water, I haven't noticed any change in bowel performance - so I take that to mean the healthy bacteria are doing ok.
