butts suck things up INTO them?!

Speaking of... I've seen plenty of discussion now about toys getting sucked into the body & the unpleasant consequences thereof. But I'm curious about condoms.
I just got a DP toy where the anal shaft is to thin for a regular condom to fit super-snugly. It hasn't been an issue so far, but what's the deal if you lose a condom in the anus/rectum? Is that a case where you can just wait for it to come out since it's not going to be poking your insides or anything?

Same here. It's hard to keep toys in, not out. And if a toy goes all the way in, it can come out so long as it is not "barbed" shaped.

I find that length is also important. I use plenty of dildos that aren't flared at all, and I have no problem doing this. Their length determines hpow far in the dildo is going to go since I'm going for my pspot. Too far in and it just doesn't feel pleasant at all. I guess having some experience with massaging your pspot is a good thing in this case. Anything that is narrow, then gets wider and then tapers again at the base should be avoided.

That article says : 'About 20 different massagers from 15 or more producers are on sale according to our internet web search."
Apparently they haven't been here where there are hundreds of "massagers"

Some people use toys without flared bases and never have trouble, because their ass doesn't suck them up and/or they always kept a good grip on them.

I've always wondered about this as well. Thanks for asking so I can find out too
I have never known anyone it has happened to.

Ha Ha. I thought I was the ONLY one who was super curious about this! Lol. I'll get a new toy and just like the other day I'll tell my partner "how on earth does someone put this in their booty?!" I've never done it, but I always wanted to know if butts really did just grab and pull something inside. It amazes me that it could happen and I often talk about it to my partner. Ha Ha. I can't bring myself to do butt sex of any kind, but I do wonder how easy this would happen. Does it suddeny snatch the item from your hand and poof! It's gone, lost inside forever? Also, how would you get it out without surgery? Yikes!
12/03/2011
OMG! That is sad, that link someone posted above about the case where a man had something stuck. What was shocking was the list of items that have been in the anus. Magazines, rocks pistols, portable heaters?! WHAT? Is that even possible?!

Also, the colon, or large intestine does NOT "digest" food. It's main function is removing fluid from stool. The stomach and the small intestine do most of the digestion.
I would Not agree with this doctors recommendation, as the ginger root could have become drier and drier and caused an intestinal blockage. I'm willing to bet she "saw it again" but it was one hell of a poop! Bleh. I would have insisted on it being removed. But, one of the main points of figging is to make sure the root is securely fastened with string or something to pull it out. less

I never had it happen to me , the closet was the Tantus little flirt but that one was weird part of it kind of was getting sucked in while part of it was falling out it was confusing. I've heard many stories however, for example porn star Amber Rayne said she had to have a cell phone removed from her rectum after it was used in scene.

I found this was not a case but just so funnies. I have heard about it, but never had it happen to me.

This has happened to a close friend of mine, and I'm thankful it hasn't happened to me. I won't put anything in my butt that doesn't have a base or a SEVERE bend to it. So dangerous.

Thanks. Pretty much my thoughts on this. It can happen, no doubt: the anus (sphincter) naturally wants to close, so it may suck the object in instead of out when the muscle is contracted. Many dildos (and things with rounded edges) will be able to make it out again (without a trip to the ER), but it's unnecessarily risky esp. for beginners.

If it's a safe, rounded toy then it will usually work its way out naturally, but if it has sharp edges or ridges (or is stiff in some circumstances) then it can get dangerous. There's no "permanent suction" in the colon, as the walls can completely collapse together, so the only thing that can "suck" it in are muscular contractions, usually of the anus.
Short answer: flared is super safe, don't get into the other stuff unless you know about your body and how it reacts AND you KNOW the toy will be safe even if it does slide all the way inside. less

has anyone ever actually experienced this? i personally cant imagine how it can be possible that your shitter is unable to shit something out. i mean, thats what it's made to do.

have had to be retrieved from the rectum and large intestines in the ER or even the operating room, because their shape and, or, size make them get stuck in the ridges of the intestine. Some can really create a very profound obstruction in fact (ie. CANS...like shave cream or flashlights) due to suction.
Bottom line (pun intended) always better safe then sorry. ANY anal toy needs a good grip on it from the user or a flared base so it just CANNOT to "inside" period.
Better safe then have a very expensive and embarrassing trip to the ER. (Oh...and if you DID have to go, believe me, they HAVE "seen it all before"), and NO, they will NOT believe you slipped in the shower and that deodorant can got shoved up your keester by accident in the fall...so don't even go there in explaining it. Better to be honest.

If it doesn't have a flange then make sure it has rounded edges on both ends.
The other things to definitely worry about are stiff toys. If it goes in and you can't feel it with a finger then things can get bad. I'm generally careful about vibrators as well - between potential heat build up and battery leaks I'm not sure of their safety, so if they go in and don't come right out it's probably time to seek help.

It could happen, but its not likely. Ive seen people put some strange stuff ALL the way up their ass and squeeze it out over and over again... Theres some porn stars that put entire 18in double sided dildos all the way inside them and never gets stuck...

seen tons of x-rays with foreign bodies stuck up people's anuses, it can most definitely happen.

While it sounds funny, it really does happen and it's quite dangerous as there is the potential to get seriously injured. Why risk it? Besides, who wants to spend hours at the ER getting an object surgically extracted? There's TONS of toys available with flanged bases that will prevent this sort of thing from happening. And when I say tons, I really mean it. I've seen some of the most mind-blowing creations designed for the butt. I think all I really wanted to say is: PLEASE be careful!!!
If you're curious about things that can get sucked up there, this video is pretty enlightening.

Personal answer: yes, I have had things slip all the way into my rectum. It can happen - the anal sphincter is a strong muscle, and if the taper is such that squeezing the object will cause it to go all the way then it will.
I have never had anything stay inside for any length of time. I'm careful about what I put up there in the first place, and if I loose my grip I relax and can usually work it out pretty quickly (note - if you've just orgasmed it might take longer).
If it's a dangerous object or if it isn't coming out within a reasonable time frame then seek help.
I would strongly discourage anyone from trying laxatives/enemas/suppo sitories to get a toy out without consulting a doctor. You can cause lots of problems that way.
