Hi,

that's always an ongoing question and of course there is no universal answer. If she is mentally up for it and had no previous trauma (pain dring insertion), the odds are very high that she will like that. There are some good movie by Nina Hartley that go over this subject and explain how to prepare for anal intercourse. There is also a very good Beginners Kit available to start with the anal play. But you should discuss it with her and watch this movie together.

Have fun and be safe!

Maybe a dumb question. Have or would you let her into your butt? What's good for the goose is good for the gander?

Today's world is equality. Especially since so many women are bringing home the bacon.

I support this idea for a totally different reason.

Being penetrated anally is a unique experience - and I think men (especially young men) think it's going to be like a 2nd albeit tighter vagina. It's not that at all.

Allowing myself to be penetrated anally gave me a fuller understanding of what sequence of events occurs that makes anal sex challenging ad what is necessary to make it enjoyable - no numbing lube should ever be used. Pain is your friend - it tells you that you're not doing it right. If you feel pain - go back a step or two - or try again on another day.

I learned for example that penetrating the external sphincter muscle is fairly easy and painless - it's penetration of the 2nd interior sphincter muscle where most resistance and tightening occurs.

Using a gradual and very well lubricated finger or toy to achieve penetration is not the end of the adjustment process. It is almost always important for someone new to anal penetration to need time to adjust - this requires the penetrator to pause and wait for a signal from their partner to move.

You just don't go thrusting like you might during PIV sex.

As I said - you are in a much better place to understand what your partner is feeling (both good and bad) if you've been penetrated.

It isn't so much about equality as it is about being a smart, attentive and effective lover/partner.

End of soapbox! As OH&W said - what's good for the goose - is indeed good for the gander!

Lol, what's good for her ass is also good for yours . And I guarantee with a strapon a woman can do it better. Much better

Never ask to do it to her if you wouldn't let her do it to you

I love all responses to this question so far & they are great! I wanted to comment because I’m your situation, I would be “the wife.”

My husband has brought up anal for about 3 years now & I always put him off when he first brought it up! My response was also “no, nothing goes in my butt”.

About a year ago I finally just told him we could try it if it would get him to quit asking. In order for it to happen there needs to be a lot of communication. Find out why she doesn’t want to do it. Maybe she had a past experience that hurt, maybe she doesn’t realize that it’s a different feeling. Communication is key.

If & when she agrees, remember you need to go slow. If she previously had a bad experience, you need to let her know you’ll go slow & make it not only comfortable for her, but enjoyable. Lots of lube & start with one finger & work your way up when she feels comfortable.

Hope this helps!

I agree with the general consensus here that having an open, honest, and detailed conversation with her about it is really the only right path to take. Incase she has reservations she hasn't yet brought up with you - taking the lead without asking could really just push her further away from where she feels comfortable. Sex, especially when the sex is new, is always best served with a side of communication.
