Sadly, she's not working for EF anymore.
02/08/2014
WHAT?????? Guess I missed something again.
02/08/2014
As Rossie said, Stormy is no longer employed at EF. It's a shame; I feel like it was a great loss for EF. It makes me wonder what will happen from here.
02/08/2014
It's a shame. It is. I'm also left a bit confused and hoping for some sort of announcement to come.
Also, I'd love some sort of direction as to where to direct Mentor questions or concerns. As near as I can tell, there was never any notice of the change sent to us.

Did she write a goodbye post?

I did not make an announcement, I will not make an announcement. I was asked to state something that is not true in regards to the situation and I refuse to lie. You guys are on your

It appears not to be thought out and let's hope EF does not take a turn for the worse. Let's hope management turns it around or we will not longer have this place to hang out. Good tidings to all of the EF followers.

Stormy/Ansley - Thanks for all your help since I joined EF. I have truly enjoyed working with you and learning from you.
Sometimes saying nothing says a lot.
You are right that things generally do work out for the best. When one door closes another one opens. If it doesn't, just climb out the window! Best of luck in your future!

First of all, I really want you guys to know this ONE thing:
I did not give up on you, the site, or the programs here. I did not quit, I was not technically fired nor laid off...my position simply does not exist anymore. And this is the statement that should speak volumes to you. The lack of participation and support within the community during the transition led to this. I was asked not to state this but instead tell you all that I had moved on to "bigger and better things". This is not the case -- I do not have a new job. I was not looking for a new job. I was looking to increase my hours here from part-time to full-time. Last Friday, the rug was pulled out from under me, full stop. That's the truth.
I will be around if and when I can be. But out of respect for my sanity, I will not answer nor redirect any issues concerning the site or any problems with the programs. I hope you understand.
Thank you for all of your well wishes and for reaffirming that you enjoyed not only my company but the way I managed the community. If I had the capital, I'd start my own site. (Not really, that's a huge pain to undertake. But it's a great fantasy. No pun intended.)

P.S. If you are looking for "people interactive" jobs via the internet or phone, you need to check with both insurance companies and possibly the pharmaceutical industry, where large banks of people now interact with patients as both information assistants and advocates. It might just be your "cup of tea"!

Thank you!! I have faith I'll land on my feet. I am not bitter, nor is this something that stunned me. I have an impressive resume and to be honest running the EF community was something spontaneous and new for me, I had never done anything like it before and being that I felt so at home here, it really seemed like a natural transition. Now the sun has set and I'll be riding off towards a new horizon with new adventures. I'm not scared, nor do I have any hard feelings towards anyone.

I learned a lot about people in ways I never could have imagined before and across a wide scope of human behavior. It was fascinating and that's what kept me going when things got tough -- to ultimately see if I could turn it around. Sometimes I succeeded, sometimes I failed, but I know that I always did my best. I'm not ashamed, nor guilty of any wrong doing as my intentions were always pure. Mainly to offer everyone a safe place to express their sexual desires. Due to an extremely large number of factors that none of you are privy to, Rome fell.
It happens. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result and this is the point the community is at.
Perhaps in the future, someone else will pick the ball up and get it rolling again or there may be a different direction ahead -- I don't know anymore about that than the rest of you.
I had a great time and I'll never forget any of the experiences I had here. From the first party I hosted on my own to being actively involved in major decisions regarding the community and policies thereof. No matter the outcome, my time here will always be marked as a success in my book.

A lot of people treated this like their full time job and I have no idea where that mentality came from or who first started pressuring the community to take ownership for the site and with that entitlement came a tidal wave of problems. Everyone has a different opinion about what happened and I've explained it all a thousand different ways.
I apologize for snapping, there's a certain lack of tone and inflection involved in reading text...often read in our own narrative and I've yet to see anyone remark on a positive note when it comes to the changes. It's a mere reflex at this point. Just now that I no longer have to be the politician of EF, I can be a little more candid in my responses.

I hope this change is a good one for you. I would assume moving forward is a positive step since being drained by something is never a good feeling. You've done the best you could here...and you should walk away feeling proud for all you've done!

WOW!! Just, wow....
I know I had to take a break due to a tumor and treatment, but I had no idea what was happening on here. I wish I would have been able to participate more these last few months. Hopefully my return isn't too little too late.
Stormy, what is the site going to be like without you as an admin.? You have pretty much been one since I started here a couple years ago. I can understand the burnout--the standing up for your own limits of truth & integrity--the absolute exhaustion from beating a dead/old/over-rehashed subject to death...sometimes going forward is too much to hope for when dealing with change. (There are many out there that cannot look ahead, but focus behind them every step of their way.)
I am surprised at the lack of new threads on the forums but very happy with the amount of new items available. It seems there have been some nice changes in the site design and layout--also that some of the programs were coming back, like the mentor program. I was going to apply to be a mentor again, but will have to wait now until we see what is going to happen in the future.
Good luck, Stormy, I look forward to reading your posts as a member and hope your next endeavor is successful.
