This is both feedback about the site and appeal to community members regarding the forum.
I've noticed a lot of repeat topics lately which are both unnecessary and confusing. Is it possible for the powers that be to merge some of these?
In that same vein, this can be avoided pretty easily by using the forum search feature. Most people who have ever participated in a forum know to search first and post later. The forums have a lot of information and a lot of hassle can be saved by using the search form.
However, I think the search function is a bit lacking. The results aren't really organized well (can we not just have discussions shown where we can expand them to see posts within them?) and confusing. And maybe it would be possible to have some advanced search features? Partial terms, search by user?
Lastly, there have been a few topics lately regarding more indvidial issues with the company that should -not- have been brought up in the forums. (I'm not even talking about the spread sheet issue.) For the most part, EF has been very good about responding to e-mails and I think if any of us our experiencing individual shipping or order problems, an e-mail will suffice.
Just my $.02
