I wanted to take this time to help people learn more about flagging.
When a post is flagged, I get a notification that lets me know something is up and to check it out. In the message I get, I see the reason the message was flagged, the comments by the flagging person, who posted the comment, the comment itself, and a link to the forum thread. After reading the above info, I send an email to the flagger, letting them know it's being checked into.
After I get the basic information, I check out the thread as a whole. If I find things getting way out of hand, I'll close the thread so further flare ups don't happen and to give people a chance to cool down. The rest of the process is handled on a case-by-case situation, so would be too long winded and varied to put in this post. Flagging is taken very serious and merits individual attention.
Flags are just a way of notifying the Admin (me) that something is up. If a message is flagged by one person, rest assured it's being checked into. There's really no need for further flagging, especially if something is posted on the thread in question. If you want to address the issue further with the admin, don't hesitate to send an email to moderator@edenfantasys .com .
I hope that clears a few things up for you!
Have a great weekend!
