#AskEden - Separate "Questions" vs "Comments" on reviews

Contributor: Dangerous Lilly Dangerous Lilly
All too often, most of the comments on reviews are of the "Thanks" or "Great review" variety - kinda useless in my opinion. And worst of all, these comments-for-points will end up burying legit product questions that were posted.

So is it possible to show actual, valid questions for the reviewer FIRST and then the comments? Also with the ability for the reviewer to mark whether or not something is actually a question.

I welcome further questions on my reviews, or people asking for a comparison but I get tired of being notified of every "Thanks!" comment and I end up missing some very valid questions.

I really like this idea. What if reviewers could mark valid questions and have them also appear under the review but above the rest of the comments? I would still keep them in the comment stream do that it makes sense when read.

Great idea. I agree with Kindred to still have then in the comment thread, but being able to read and answer them first would greatly benefit the reviewer and the person asking the question. Also if the person asking the question got a response or notifier that the question was answered would be nice as well.

I think that would be a great idea -- just have a markoff in the comment box whether this is a comment or question and then highlight the boxes that are questions. I think it's easy enough to implement.

Thanks for the suggestion!

We'll think this one over.
