Not sure where else this should go: allergy alert on a product!

Contributor: Peggi Peggi
After having purchased a product this one I noticed that although it's farther down on the list and may just be an inactive ingredient, this product contains glycerin, which a lot of people are allergic to or sensitive to, and can end up with a yeast infection if they use bubble baths with this ingredient EVEN if it is inactive or further down on the list of ingredients! I, myself, am NOT sensitive to glycerin but to those who may be, I think that this should be listed on the main page (as you can see, it is not) but I did take the time to take a picture of the list of ingredients in my review of the product, as I try to keep everyone informed of the ingredients of all products I review/will be reviewing.

The extent that any glycerin would be diluted in a bath would be fairly significant. Soap generally has some glycerin from the saponification reaction. Glycerin is probably just a carrier for one or more of the other ingredients in the product. Given that this product is meant to be extensively diluted, I wouldn't worry too much about the trace amounts of glycerin that would be present.

I had thought about that as well, but you are meant to use quite a bit of the product in combination with the water, and although I noticed that the glycerin is farther down on the list, often those with any sensitivity to the ingredient even in the smallest traces can end up with reactions or infections. My sister for example can not use bubble bath containing ANY glycerin, no matter how diluted or how far down on the ingredients list it may be, or she will end up with yeast infections, UTIs or sometimes, if it came in larger amounts in the bubble bath, hives. I wouldn't have even noticed this in the ingredients had I not been looking for something different myself, another user commenting that she avoids products with any glycerin in them whatsoever for the same reason. Highly sensitive and allergic reactions.

Yes I think it's very important that this is listed! Glad you are going to include this in your review.
