Drafts for Reviews

Contributor: Renewing Desire Renewing Desire
I search the Forum for this, but could only see one mention in another section by Epiphora.

It would help to have the ability to save drafts without publishing them so reviewers can add details as they experience them without forgetting. You could use another program like Word, but it's nice to keep things in more convenient places.

What do you think?

I usually write my reviews in a word document and then save them if I can't finish them at one setting. It would be nice to have a document on here that we could do that do.
I do better if I can write it all out, let it cool off, then go back and reread it to fix mistakes.
Good idea.

I've always thought that would be very useful.

I like this suggestion a lot. I use google docs to write them, but sometimes there are issues I realize after filling out the form that make me want to hold of on submitting it. Who wants to copy/paste into each field a second time?

Another small bug I'd like to see fixed is that while editing reviews, if you make changes in the field for the body of your review, then uncheck the use-spell-check option, the page reloads and you lose your edits.

Yes! I did not expect that to happen, but I was glad I'd only written a sentence or two that could be easily rewritten, otherwise I'd have been livid!

When it happens to me, if I hit the back button, the stuff I wrote comes back. Of course, so does the spell check check mark, so you have to copy and paste to a document, uncheck the button and copy and paste back to the form.

It's a pain in the arse.
