Do you think that EF should start including shoes on the site?

I love this site, but I have to admit that I think it's pretty disappointing that there are no sexy shoes on this site.

I LOVE heels, and I understand that not everyone is as obsessed with them as I am, but I absolutely love to dress up. They make me feel sexy and I can't feel help but feel confident when I have on the right pair of shoes.

Another note: I know that we do have somewhat of a BDSM community on here, and while shoe fetishes aren't for everyone, there would probably be enough of a market for it on EF (with or without the fetish aspect really).

I don't really know how EF decides which companies will have products on this site, but would adding sexy shoes be out of the question?

I'd love for there to be discussion on this from the EF staff and other reviewers.

In my opinion, shoes are too far from EF's mission. Plus, to stock them, they would have to stock multiple styles in all the sizes and allow free returns if they want to compete with other sites that offer only shoes. I'm not a business person, but it seems to me that its not worth the effort involved for EF. Once they offer a few styles people will want dozens more. EF would have to be willing to go that route.

From a retail standpoint, shoes are an absolute nightmare. I cannot even imagine how much more of a nightmare it would be to sell shoes online. So, while I sympathize with those who desperately want shoes, I really don't think it's realistic to expect. Sorry.

Thank you. So many people ask for shoes every month. I thought I'd be the lone voice saying EF shouldn't carry them.

I agree that it would be a hassle to carry them. Obviously if they did, I would be looking to buy some, but I'd rather see other things before seeing shoes.

I would never buy shoes online because I think it's important to try them on first. Even if they were only for the bedroom I still want them to be comfortable.

Should they? I'm not sure because of the business standpoint of it. But it would be fucking awesome since I started asking for them about two years ago. I would buy heels more than anything else at this point.

I'm a practical person, and I have experienced the headache of selling shoes before. Say the shoes only came in six styles, and two colors -- that's a pretty pathetic selection if you want to shop for shoes, and yet it represents a huge overhead for the retailer in question, because they'd have to stock 120 pairs of shoes just to have one of each size, even without going lower than 5 1/2 or higher than 10. Shoes are expensive, and have a low markup, and for a low-volume seller, that markup really shrinks. Set in a shop with a focus basically unrelated to shoes, and the sales are going to be pretty low as well. High overhead, slow turnover, low markup, and a high return rate. The shoe lover in me wishes they would stock sexy shoes to go along with costumes. And of course, my boyfriend, an avid foot fetishist, would love it too. I do realize how difficult it might be for EF to have to stock shoes, but I think they would fly off the shelves, so to speak. It wouldn't have to be a huge selection, but a few Pleaser, Bordello, or Penthouse shoes to choose from would make me infinitely happy.

And I would be happy to lend my feet to model them if EF ever did carry shoes.. just throwing that out there, hehe

I would obviously buy heels from EF if they had them, but it doesn't bother me that they don't sell them. There are a ton of places to get sexy shoes, I think it would be a huge hassle for EF to deal with it all.

I can also agree with that, but I think if they were to include shoes, then they would probably sell well

I'm torn, I know I'm always asking for shoes in the Eden should carry thread, but I realize also that carrying any sizable selection would be an absolute nightmare. It'd be awesome if they did, and I'll keep asking, but I'm not really expecting them

Ok, I will jump in, only because I hound the SHIT out of EF to carry shoes. I would LOVE to get shoes from EF, but I can see why they don't carry them. EF isn't a drop-ship site, so they have a warehouse. Meaning, they must house the items they sell. Shoes can be space consuming, and they may not sell they way we want. Plus, EF would likely have to deal with more returns due to sizing issues.

While I would love to have shoes here, I totally see why it wouldn't be realistic.

I think that in the future, as Edenfantasys continues to grow, shoes could be realistic. For the moment I tend to agree with others in that it's a big investment to make up front, and one that might not really pay off. But if in the next few years Edenfantasys continues to expand and add more lingerie and other items like that then I would imagine shoes would eventually follow. It just seems like shoes at this point would be premature. Interesting post, I'm liking reading the responses.

I would love to see shoes! Even if they only carried a few different styles at first to test the waters, I'd be thrilled. There's just something about the convenience of being able to order a costume or lingerie and shoes to go with it at the same time.

I'm with the "shoes would be a nightmare from a business standpoint" people. Think about how much trouble you go through as the purchaser of a pair of shoes, then imagine what it must be like to sell them.

I would love to see some thigh high black boots that are super sexy to go along with an outfit I could invent some super sexy heels or boots! haha ...I've been looking for some and I think it would be helpful to stick em on here...especially if there are outfits...but I wouldnt put up flip flops and that kind of stuff so...I dont think Eden wouldn't turn into a shoe store if they were specific...darn it!
